Dog Boarding in Atwater

This is the second time we have taken our dogs to stay with Melissa. She is fantastic with them! I have one dog that had high anxiety but she does great with Melissa. Thanks again for such a great job!

Let me start by saying I have an intense bond with my dog and it probably hurt me more than him leaving him for the longest time I’ve ever left (2 weeks) so I was a total mess at drop off. Seeing his little face look at me with those “where are you going” eyes when I closed the door, my heart broke. He’s never stayed here before and I was leaving him with strangers for two weeks, I feared he would think I abandoned him. He was welcomed with so much love by Savannah and her adorable family. He frolicked around their house and her kids and husband were so excited to have him there. Every fear or worry I had she settled with quick responses and picture updates while I was out of the country. He looked like he was having the time of his life! She never once made me feel like I was too much for checking in or leaving a laundry list of needs for his senior health and dietary restrictions. It made my heart so happy to know how he was so deeply loved and cared for as their own. When I arrived it was like he didn’t want to leave! You could tell he formed a bond with Savannah, running back to her instead of me with his favorite toy! Their sweet kitty seemed to have taken a liking to him as well. I can’t say enough good things. She is a godsend, a total angel. You can tell he misses his second family already. Thank you Sooooooo much for loving Mr. Meeks. We love you guys!!! Such a gem of a find for a trustworthy, loving sitter. Your furbaby will be safe, healthy, and happy in her care.

Cassie was amazing. My god tends to be a little anxious when going somewhere new but he went with her right away and seemed to feel at home! She sent me pictures and was so kind.

Daniel & Rachel are amazing! They are very warm and friendly and were wonderful with our fur babies. We received extremely thoughtful and generous daily updates that included photos and videos which made us feel so connected and at ease while we were away. They cared for our dogs as if they were their own! After our two-week vacation, we returned to find our pets content and at ease. We can honestly say that we did not worry about Bodhi & Mia at all while we were gone. We are thrilled to have found Daniel & Rachel and highly recommend them for their dependable, honest, and compassionate care. Truly a 5-star experience and we look forward to booking again in the future.

Doug was great and gave me regular updates on how my dog was doing. Was patient and understanding as my dog got used to the new surroundings.

I’m so glad we found this amazing family to watch our dogs over the weekend! We don’t often feel comfortable leaving our dogs with anyone, but they made us feel completely confident that our pups were in great hands. They went above and beyond to meet all of our dogs' special needs and gave me regular updates with check-ins, photos, and videos, which was such a relief. It was clear that our dogs had a blast with them—lots of playtime and adventures, and they came home totally worn out (which is the ultimate sign of a good weekend for them!). I highly recommend this family to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet sitters. I will definitely be reaching out again for future trips. Arya is very patient and has alot of information to share. He has given us lots of tips and trick to help assist us with our pup. I would definitely recommend him as a dog sitter.

Our dog stayed with Gail for two days and we had an amazing experience all around! She was very accommodating to his needs and he even got to sleep with her, which he loved. He came home tired from all the playing and we could tell he was very happy and comfortable in her home when we picked him up. We will definitely be using Gail again!

Zachary took great care of our dog, Bernie. He really put my mind at ease by sending me daily pictures & updates, so I could tell that Bernie was in great hands and having fun all weekend! Bernie was nice and tired afterwards too! We will be booking with him again.

Suzanne was fantastic! Our travel plans went completely out of whack and Suzanne was very accommodating to our constantly changing itinerary. She has a lovely home with a fenced-in yard and two very friendly resident dogs. I would recommend Suzanne to anyone who needs a sitter for their pooch.

Isabel provided a safe and loving home for my Jasmine! Plenty of exercise, companionship, and potty breaks. Her home is “dog friendly “ and Isabel was very easy to communicate with.

Idgy had a great day with Paula, Bill and their for baby Marty. I highly recommend them if you need a great boarder who never leaves the pups. I'm a boarder myself and it's hard to find good boarders. They get an A+.

This was the second time we left Fiona with Kelli and we were so pleased that Kelli was enthusiastic about having Fiona. We look forward to scheduling with Kelli in the future. Dale and Kathy

This was my first time using Rover. It was somewhat of an emergency situation/late night booking. I could not be more pleased with Deanna. From the moment I dropped Lucy off I knew she would be in good hands. I received daily “pupdates” with photos of Lucy having fun with the other dogs. If the need ever arises, I will be booking Deanna again.

I was so happy with the way my Lola was cared for! You can tell this home is full of love and I would definitely book with Anita and her family again.

Alayna and Adam were fantastic. Our dog Roxy had the best weekend while we were out of town. Alayna was so attentive to her schedule and needs. Roxy was spoiled rotten and had the best time. If you are looking for a boarding option, please book with Alayna and Adam. Highly Recommend!
