Dog Boarding in Galena

Emily was luckily available after a last minute cancellation by another sitter. She was wonderful, and my sad, abandoned-by-me dog was looking happy and relaxed by the next day! She sent frequent pictures of his stay. He and her dog looked like good buddies in short order. I would most definitely book Emily again!

We know Sydney had the best time with Heather and Gary . Gary and Heather and their daughter sent so many comforting pictures while we were on our trip. It looks like Sydney has found a new family to cuddle with. Sydney came back home relaxed and is just fine. We would encourage everyone who needs furry friend care to utilize Rover as the best solution. Traveling again we now who we will call. Gary and Heather....thank you for the best and kindest care for our family member Sydney.

Thank you for another great visit! I know my pup loves going to Sally's because he goes running to her front door with his tail wagging as soon as we get out of the car!

Lauren was great with our dog and showed patience when he was adjusting to her home. He obviously enjoyed his time with her family as he settled right in and cuddled with them. Lauren sent updates and photos everyday which was comforting since this was his first time in her home. We will definitely use Lauren in the future!

3rd visit - and still more scheduled ahead! Loni and her family absolutely treat ember as their own. Ember can be slightly special with her medical needs, but Loni is so easy to work with!! Love all the updates I receive during the time while she’s watching her.

Angela was amazing! She took great care of Waky for the night, and we could tell he had a wonderful time. She was kind, communicative, and made the whole experience easy. We would definitely book with her again!

Will & Bibiana were great sitters for my dog. I loved receiving the pictures every day and Eevee came back happy. I would definitely recommend them!

John and Shannon took wonderful care of our energetic labradoodle. They walked her, played with her in their yard, and spent quality time with her each day of the visit. We especially appreciated very regular messages and pictures. They also agreed to do this on very short notice. We highly recommend them!

Leslie was wonderful with our two girls while we traveled for a 2 week international vacation. She was very thorough and knowledgeable in evaluating their behaviors and provided us with daily updates and photos. They returned to us very happy and healthy and it was clear that she cared well for them and gave them a lot of attention, playtime, and care. We were very happy with the experience!

Kelly and Ben were kind and communicative. They sent plenty of pictures during Sadie's brief stay with them. Sadie was in very good spirits when I arrived. I would be very happy to re-book with them for any future pet-sitting needs!

Liliana did an amazing job with sending updates, pictures, & videos! From the moment we arrived to drop off Dodger, she asked questions about his needs to ensure his care. Dodger had a blast with L's dog, Ova. I'm sure he wouldn't mind visiting again!

Lauren was a great boarder for our dog! She regularly gave us updates that included pictures. We greatly appreciated her accepting our request on short notice. We would love to utilize her services again!

We are newcomers this year to central Ohio and took our first two-week vacation for a break from the winter. Our dog groomer suggested we check Rover.com in search of a sitter for a place to board our 11 year old shiatsu, GiGi. We were pleased to meet Rita and Brian and see the beautiful home and fenced in back yard in which they would care for our pet. We were delighted with the care and affection shown to GiGi, when we boarded her there. Rita obviously is an expert in caring for pets. She kept us updated with emails and photos, assuring us not only that GiGi was okay, but that she was well cared for and being loved. We have found a home away from home for the littlest member of our family and are now very comfortable making new vacation plans. Thank you, Clyde & Linda

Bill and Mary were very attentive and communicative while caring for Grizzly. He had a wonderful time playing in the fenced in yard and staying with them. We are happy to have found such a great “home away from home” for Grizzly to stay should we ever need one again.

Emily and Nick were wonderful and took great care of my two dogs. They sent me lots of updates with pictures which was awesome knowing my dogs were having a fun time with their gang! Thanks again for a great stay- we will be back for sure!

Scott is the best dogsitter you could ever ask for! I was a little uneasy leaving my dog with a dog sitter instead of a pet hotel but now I feel muuuch more comfortable leaving my dog with Scott! He gave me updates while I was on my trip, responded to me super quick and made my dog feel incredibly comfortable and happy. I have a difficult dog: I found him on the street a few months ago and he had went through abuse for years, so I was super worried about how a dog sitter might handle him. To my surprise, I picked up a calmer dog than I dropped off! If you want peace of mind when leaving your pup in somebody’s hands you have to go with Scott, he’ll take good care of your fur-baby.

Dee is an awesome dog sitter. She gave me a picture of my dog during the e evening I was away. That made me smile. I appreciated her kind words and caring heart. We will be back!

I had a great experience with Taylor watching my dog, George. She is friendly, communicative, and flexible! George stayed with her for close to 2 weeks while I was traveling, and she really allowed me to feel relaxed and like he was in great hands while I was away. I would recommend Taylor to anyone!

Andrew was amazing! The dogs had so much fun and were clearly tuckered out when they got back. Very responsive and could not be happier with the care for our pups.

Jessika was great with Kiera! She gave updates and pictures. Kiera had a nice stay for a few nights in her home. Would highly recommend!
