House Sitting in Mount Gilead

Monica was the best! Even though I just moved into my place and still have boxes everywhere she didn't mind at all. She took good care of my kitties scoop the litter box and everything looked just like I left it when I came home. She even went above and beyond and washed the sheets she slept in and left me clean sheets so I could easily put them on and go to bed after a long day of traveling. I highly recommend her and would use her again and probably will!

Great experience using Lynn for in home pet sitting. We have one, a red heeler, that is more standoffish with new people. He took no time winning her over. Lynn sent pictures and videos daily. That went a long way easing our minds they were happy and being well taken care of. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again!

We have used Derek twice now and he has done an awesome job both times. Our small zoo of 2 Aussies and 4 cats seem to really love him.

Camille is a very caring dog sitter. She’s very easy going and accommodating. We were worried about leaving our dog who has separation anxiety issues, but she put our minds at ease. She has lots of experience and knowledge about dogs. She took great care of him and we couldn’t be more grateful. We knew he was in good hands.

Selena is the best! She stayed with our two Goldens for the weekend and took great care of them! She was very flexible when our flights were changed. It gives us such peace of mind knowing she’s watching our dogs/home while we’re gone. 😊

Caitlin did a great job taking care of my dog while I was away for a weekend. He can have some anxiousness meeting new people and she was willing to work with me ahead of my trip to drop-in on him weeks before so he was comfortable. I even added another dog in for the final stay and everyone behaved and was happy upon my return. Will definitely use in the future!

We were very happy with Adrianna staying a week in our home. Our animals loved the attention, and I loved getting pictures each day. Highly recommend!!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Maggie, took amazing care of our dogs while staying at our place and made everything so easy. She kept things tidy, sent updates, and clearly treated our dogs like her own. I’ll definitely ask her to sit again!

In the past, I've only trusted family to stay in my home and care for my fur babies. I needed someone else for that role since the family member's job situation changed. After reading several profiles and client reviews on Rover, Brittany was at the top of my list. She responded within 5 min of my post and agreed to meet that week. She stayed over an hour to meet my two elderly dogs (both in diapers) and my third dog who has behavioral problems (unpredictable biting). All three are on medications, one has a special diet, and most require potty breaks 4-6 times a day. Brittany was so warm and friendly. I was immediately put at ease once I saw how interacted with all three dogs and how they responded to her. They LOVED her! I booked her to stay in my home for 2 1/2 weeks while I was in Australia & New Zealand. She complied with my request to check in often with texts and pictures. She sent videos too...all showed normal days of play, eating, and rest. She contacted me immediately when my one dog on a special diet developed diarrhea (newly diagnosed health problem just before I left). She was calm, already called the vet to arrange an evaluation and needed me to call them to get consent for her to bring him in. She administered the care recommended and he was back to normal the next day. Regarding my house, one day she came home to an alarm sounding in my basement. She contacted the proper authority to silence the alarm, contacted me, and made arrangements to have a service person correct the problem. Yes, Brittany is amazing. My pups and home were in the best of hands. Good luck booking her. I may be keeping her too busy ; )

Cannon did a fabulous job, keep our little boy busy so he would sleep when we were ready. Sent some really nice pictures to keep us updated. We will use her again.

Due to my "go to" sitter moving town, I needed to find a new home for my babies while I'm out of town. My son and I travel a lot so typical boarding/kennel is not my favorite place for the doggies. Arya was very responsive when setting up the stay. My dogs tend to forget their training when meeting someone new, and I appreciated that Arya immediately responded to my goldendoodle the way I want him to when he jumps - he turned his back. Within 2 minutes Ayra had Marlin responding as he should (too often people tell me, "oh, it's okay" and allow Marlin to misbehave. I know this is also on me...but to have help, helps!). The dogs were walked regularly and I was given many, many videos. I had some questions about the dogs after pick up, and Arya responded immediately. He also texted to check in to see how they were doing, which was great. I'd absolutely use Arya again for shorter trips; I'm not sure about longer ones because the dogs appear to spend much time in the crate. It's not a negative per se - and I trusted Arya completely with them - it's just that that stay is very different from their lifestyle they've experienced during boarding, which is a large yard in which to run free, and generally only crating at night for sleep and when my previous sitter would leave the house.
