Dog Boarding in Mahanoy City

Lorraine took great care of Buddy while I was away! It was our first time using a pet sitter and especially that Buddy was only 6 months old made it scary. There was no need for worry. She sent me daily texts and pictures. Even when I knew Buddy was probably misbehaving Lorraine would say.....he's just being a puppy that's what puppies do. She is very sweet and would recommend her services!

I am so thankful to have found Debbie and Phil! They are truly amazing people who took wonderful care of my dog. They set up a meet and greet, had excellent communication, and sent frequent updates and pictures while I was away. They have a huge fenced in yard and four adorable pups of their own, so my dog had a blast. Very grateful to have found people we trust and will be using again! Thanks Debbie and Phil!

Starr took excellent care of our Kai while we were out of the country! Leaving him for the first time with strangers and his separation anxiety had me very worried, but she handled it all wonderfully. She provided us with regular updates, including photos, and our Kai took to her almost instantly. 😊 We will definitively be using her for any future travel plans as Kai adores her and she has proven herself to be a trustworthy caretaker for our Kai. 😊 Would highly recommend her if your pup is like ours and has separation anxiety issues.

Amber was great and so easy to work with! She gave me so many updates which I loved! Nice to be able to see that your pup is enjoying their time.

My two dogs - Levi (lab) and Stormy (goldendoodle) and I had great experiences with Megan, boarding at her home. Levi had never been boarded before; he’d always had sitters at home. I was a bit nervous - especially to leave them for nine days. On short notice, Megan met us ahead of time for a meet and greet. The dogs and I felt comfortable with her right away. Her communication is clear and responsive. She shared some pictures during their stay - looking comfortable, relaxed, and active - including my lab Levi “sledding” down the hill there, making “snow angels” while sliding down the hill, then running back up the hill to do it again. I had only been back a few days when I learned of a family member’s death. I checked on Megan’s availability - YAY! - before I made plans to travel for the services. I dropped them off today. They happily ran to great Megan’s 2 labs and did not look back. I am grateful to Megan and her family for being such terrific hosts. I was used to friends and roommates taking care of my dogs, so I was not used to paying much for dog sitting. Megan’s care was SO worth it!

Celestia and Ryan are fantastic and take such good care of our pups! Our boys are older and require more attention and Celestia and Ryan provide the most loving care - we feel so relieved knowing that our guys are with them when we are away. The pictures and updates about our happy guys make us smile every time! When our older dog had some trouble with arthritis, Celestia reached out to let us know and asked about giving him his prescribed anti inflammatory/pain relievers - this was such a comfort knowing she was truly paying attention to every detail and taking the very best care of him!! We love having our guys stay with them and highly highly recommend Celestia and Ryan!

First time using Dierdre, and we will be using again. We trusted her immediately upon seeing her property and secure fencing. We quickly learned she has an expertise in dealing with Dogs and other animals. Our 3 Hounds came home safe, tired and happy! All good things. Thank you and see you in the future!

Laura was awesome! Our dog Jordan is skittish around strangers, but Laura helped her feel right at home! Jordan enjoyed playing in the backyard and meeting new dog friends. We will definitely be back!

Tristan and his wife are wonderful people to leave your pets with. It was my first time with them and as always I’m hesitant to leave my baby (cat) with any one but one meeting with Tristan put me at ease. He was very warm and welcoming. Their house is clean and clutter free, giving ample space for the pets to be comfortable. Tristan kept in touch throughout my pets stay with pics and text. Will definitely be going back to them.

Christy was great right from our first contact. She replied to my messages promptly and courteously. I was visiting from out of town for a pickleball tournament so my plans changed many times. She accommodated the changes with grace and provided excellent care and communication while my two senior pups stayed with her.

Erin was great - I contacted her in a pinch after my usual dog sitter cancelled, and she was so flexible and willing to board my dog on short notice. She was very friendly and accommodating. She sent daily pictures, which reassured me that my dog was under good care and having fun!

Great experience with Deanna! She is truly a dog person and will provide the best care for your dog. I left my two doodles with Deanna for 6 nights and had no worries. I also received quick responses to my texts and got plenty of videos and photos. I will be using Deanna again!

10/10 recommend!! Sitter gave me updates throughout the day and even sent me pictures. Definitely going back!!

Rosa is very friendly and so are the lovable kids. My puppy cashew was little hesitant when we are about to drop him off but as soon as he saw her son he wagged his tail. Rosa sent us awesome pictures and videos. Definitely recommend..?

5 stars 100%! Myra is a really good pet sitter because of her flexibility and patience! She watched our puppy , Petunia for us when we went away for vaycation. She followed the routines and kept petunia safe and active 24/7! Thank you , Myra!

Awesome job taking care of our dog for the week we were out of town. Would definitely rebook in the future. She kept us posted on how he did and sent pictures during the week.

Kathy took very good care of both of our fur babies. She has a wonderful property and actively takes them on walks, and has a beautiful fenced in area for play. Not to mention the drive through there community is stunning. I believe you're fur baby will feel at home and that is during your absence. Five stars, thank you so much Kathy you will be hearing from us again next year.
