House Sitting in Middlesex

Meghan was wonderful with my 13-year old beagle mix. My dog, Kaylee, takes several medications and has to stay out of the sun due to seizures and Meghan was very sensitive to her special needs. Meghan also provided regular updates and responded quickly to texts. I highly recommend her to watch your precious pets!

Marlaina stayed at our house and watched our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Our one cat is diabetic and usually doesn't let anyone give him his shots, but he warmed right up to Marlaina and she was able to give his twice daily shots. This really made me feel so much better about going away. All of the pets just loved her! We came home to a tidy house house and happy pets. We highly recommend Marlaina and will definitely use her in the future.

Andy took the best care of our Chiweenie Bruce while we were away. Our regular sitter was unavailable for part of our planned trip, and rather than have Bruce go to a strange new place, we opted for a sitter in our home. Andy responded promptly to my inquiry and she set up a meet and greet right away. After meeting Andy in person and receiving her orientation/get to know your pet questions, we knew 100% that our little guy would be in good hands. Andy is a great communicator and she sent lots of photos of Bruce literally living his best life while we were away; the care and coordination offered exceeded any expectations we had. Brittany was wonderful with our pets. Medication was given to our seniors with no fuss and Brittany also handled a slight medical problem that arose only a few hours before her visit. Everyone seemed happy and content when we got home, which is what is most important.

This was my first time with Becky. We had a family wedding to attend and Becky stayed overnight with my 3 dogs and also my son’s dog. I have never used Rover or had any other dog sitter for that matter. I’ve always had a family member but everyone was at the wedding! I think I read everyone’s bio on Rover, and hands down, Becky stood out from all the ones I read. She came and met my dogs once before the overnight and I knew I made the right choice. Her love for animals shines through. She is very personable, trustworthy and dependable. She sent lots of pictures which was very reassuring. My dogs loved her even my sweet anxious girl. When you’re reading the bios and you get to Becky, just know she’s the one!

Onnolee went above and beyond in caring for my animals. She sent notes and pictures and made me feel so comfortable being away from home. I will use her over and over again.

Kayla was absolutely wonderful! My parents were very nervous about leaving their very spoiled and couch loving 116 lb mountain cur and 20 lb chihuahua mix pups behind for a 4 day family trip. Kennels just seemed too loud and "sterile" for our sensitive pups, especially the big boy :-) so we tried Rover. And boy did it make our trip worry free!! Kayla was so wonderful! She kept us up to date, sent pics and videos, texts, it was so comforting. It was my parents first experience using a service like this, and it put them at ease, they could enjoy the trip, thanks to Kayla. She was fantastic! We will surely use her again. At our initial meet and greet, we knew she was the one, the pups loved her immediately! So much better than sending them to a kennel, the piece of mind made our trip so much more enjoyable! I highly recommend using Kayla, she was terrific (btw, she even threw her sheets and towels into the laundry on the last day!! Over and above! That was very nice to come home to!)

Chelsea was awesome with Loki and Callie. She took lots of pictures and gave lots of cuddle time. She was a real trooper with the awful heat and weather while we were away, including having to shelter and calm the dogs during a tornado warning! Would not hesitate to have Chelsea stay with Loki and Callie again! Thanks for EVERYTHING!

It was great to have Ash watch my small yorkie while I was away! She was both professional and polite, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I would definitely recommend her to others looking for a pet sitter!

Lauren was amazing with my baby. She was very responsive to my initial request and sent me updates all 3 days I was away. She also sent me pictures and reached out with any questions for clarity. Highly recommend!!

We are so happy that we found Deb. She took excellent care of our three babies when we took a little break and went camping.

Ronny is absolutely amazing! We were out of the country for roughly 3 weeks and I was completely at ease knowing that he was caring for both our dogs and our home. He is extremely proactive in sending daily pictures and videos and truly loves caring for dogs (or pets). You can tell he is completely at ease and loves being surrounded by dogs. He walked and exercised our dogs regularly and provided me with daily check-ins. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is fantastic! If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Kari has housesat for our two dogs several times now. We really appreciate how much she communicates with us about our pups which helps to relieve our anxiety being away from them. She's also particularly great with our diabetic dog who requires blood glucose testing and insulin delivery twice a day. We appreciate Madison so much! This was our first time using Rover as well as a pet sitter for our pets. Madison is very professional and was so patient with our frenchie (who is your typical frenchie with allllll the issues!). Both our cat and dog warmed up quickly with Madison and she kept us updated every day with pictures, which I personally love! She kept our home clean throughout her stay and we hope to work with her again in the future for our pet sitting needs!!
