House Sitting in South Waverly

Kristin was excellent! She was right at home with our two kitties, and they were comfortable immediately with her. She was helpful with house tasks too like taking out the garage, watering plants, and bringing in boxes. We will absolutely be using her again!

We were new to Rover and came across Matt and Jessica. We have three dogs- Nia a 7 year old springer and two hound dogs- Daisy age 3 and Sadie age 1. We were gone for 6 days. To say that I get nervous leaving my dogs/babies is an understatement. Nia has medical issues and Jess did a great job handling and giving Nia her meds. Nia was so relaxed with Jess- she played ball with her. This is unheard of. When we’ve left Nia in the past she sulks, doesn’t eat/eats far less and certainly doesn’t relax enough to play ball. To me, this speaks to Jessica’s mild manner and calm she brings to the animals she watches. Jess stayed in our home- was 1000% trustworthy and kept the house neat and tidy. Jess sent daily pictures and communicated effectively and timely. I would strongly recommend Jess and Matt!!!

Staci was a wonderful sitter for my senior cat, Cecil. CeCe needs medication daily, and also likes to spend some time outside in the back yard during the day. I received lots of pictures and came home to a clean house and happy kitty! I would gladly have Staci here again in the future! :)

Kelli was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in every way while caring for both our dog and our cat. Her level of care and attention meant so much and gave us incredible peace of mind while we were away. We also had an unexpected last-minute change to our travel plans, and Kelli was incredibly accommodating and flexible with our schedule. Her communication was consistently prompt, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire stay. She kept us updated regularly, and it was obvious that both of our pets were happy, comfortable, and receiving lots of love and attention from her. It’s clear that Kelli genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and treats them like they’re her own. We came home to a happy dog, a happy cat, and a spotless home. In the past, we have had negative experiences with pet sitters, and Kelli’s care was so refreshing for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. We highly recommend Kelli and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Amelia was great! She stayed with our dog for a week, soon after Tiana was adopted and still in her adjustment period. She was really easy to communicate with and Tiana loved her!

Angela was awesome. Lots of communication and pictures. We couldn't have asked for a better fit seeing as Angela slept with our two cuddle bugs. Toys were an awesome surprise and the dogs love them. We look forward to using Angela again. A+ service!

Another set of wonderful stays. The kids needed someone with them during the day while I was out of town and my spouse was at work. Pictures every day, and I know they were happy. I'm always content when I know Kaylah will be over.

We had Sari house sit our 6 month old German Sheppard and we would highly recommend her to anyone. She updated us throughout the weekend with great photos, took her on hikes in the area, and even had an Easter egg hunt with her since it was Easter weekend. The house was swept and exactly how we left it when we arrived home. It was the first time we left her with someone and we couldn’t be happier.

Due to my "go to" sitter moving town, I needed to find a new home for my babies while I'm out of town. My son and I travel a lot so typical boarding/kennel is not my favorite place for the doggies. Arya was very responsive when setting up the stay. My dogs tend to forget their training when meeting someone new, and I appreciated that Arya immediately responded to my goldendoodle the way I want him to when he jumps - he turned his back. Within 2 minutes Ayra had Marlin responding as he should (too often people tell me, "oh, it's okay" and allow Marlin to misbehave. I know this is also on me...but to have help, helps!). The dogs were walked regularly and I was given many, many videos. I had some questions about the dogs after pick up, and Arya responded immediately. He also texted to check in to see how they were doing, which was great. I'd absolutely use Arya again for shorter trips; I'm not sure about longer ones because the dogs appear to spend much time in the crate. It's not a negative per se - and I trusted Arya completely with them - it's just that that stay is very different from their lifestyle they've experienced during boarding, which is a large yard in which to run free, and generally only crating at night for sleep and when my previous sitter would leave the house.

Rachel did a great job - was reliable, communication was excellent, and she took great care of my dog - she left the house clean and well cared for. I will definitely plan to have her watch my dog again!

Cate did a great job caring for Benny. She sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated since when we left he was quite sad. Cate was able to cheer him up and we came home to a very happy boy!
