House Sitting in Stowe

Tara is the best! I was very nervous about trying this for the first time, but my worries were eased when we met her ahead of time and relieved during her stay. I received regular updates and knew my girl was in good hands. I came home to a happy dog and I am a happy dogmom having someone I can trust to care for my girl.

This was our first time having someone stay at our house to watch our two frenchies and I couldn’t be happier! Katie was wonderful with the pups and the daily photos allowed us to relax, knowing that they’re being well taken care of.

Hailey was amazing! Our dog Maggie took to her immediately during the meet and greets and was truly excited to see her again for our pet/house sitting booking for a weekend away. She took great care of Maggie, we received updates and pictures and would absolutely use her services and as well as highly recommending her.

Paige was an amazing pet sitter for our Stevie! She walked her, played with her in the backyard and kept her company while my husband and I were away for a long weekend. She left our home spotless and sent us update pictures every day. I will absolutely be using her again and can’t recommend her enough!

Ben was absolutely amazing. First time rover user, and we were certainly hesitant to try something new. He was friendly, very communicative and took amazing care of our boys. We received daily updates and photos and came back to a tidy house. We’ve often struggled to get pet care with two golden retrievers, and are so happy we found Ben. We’ll absolutely ask him back in the future if he’s available.

Pam went above and beyond watching our two dogs. She was very attentive while I explained to her our dog’s daily routines and provided excellent communication while we were on our trip. Pam sent numerous updates and videos so we didn’t miss our dogs so much, and she even cleaned up the house while we were gone. I highly recommend booking Pam through Rover if you can!

We had to find a sitter for our dog Larry at the very last minute. It was Friday night and we needed to find someone for Saturday night. We reached out to Kat and she responded super quickly and was able to make it! She met us at 730 since we had to leave at 8 so that we could introduce her to Larry. She showed up with questions and ready to take notes, and she was super kind to our little guy. Once we left, we learned that she got there earlier than she had to and spent the whole day outside with him! She took him to the park and on runs. When she went to get dinner, she brought him with her and even brought a blanket for him to sit on so he was comfy. She sent pictures all day to show us that he was having lots of fun. The next day, she got up and walked Larry and made sure he was set for the whole day. Then she wiped down all surfaces she touched with disinfectant, stripped the bed of the sheets she used and put the towel she used aside. She wrote a letter for us (from Larry!) explaining everything they did while we were gone, AND she left is a lovely thank you note for getting to watch Larry and left him a toy. We were blown away by her level of attentiveness and professionalism. We don't leave much because Larry is a nervous dog, but we will 1000% try to go away on weekends from time to time from now on, as long as Kat is available to babysit! I can't say enough good things about the job she did. We've never felt safer about leaving Larry alone overnight.

Amelia was great!! This was our first time using Rover and having someone other then family watch our two dogs. She was able to help us on short notice and worked with our changing schedules- even coming to our home twice to meet and how to care for the dogs. We have a 17 year old yorkie that is high maintenance at her old age. I was very nervous, but with many pictures, videos, and communication from Amelia, it put me to ease. Amelia asked questions I wouldn’t think to ask . She was very personable and experienced. I would 100% use her again and would recommend her!!!

This is my first time hiring anyone to stay at my home overnight to watch my dog. Joanna made the experience stress-free and I was truly able to enjoy my weekend away. I would definitely recommend her to others!

I was lucky to find Timothy on here for a last minute need. He has been super flexible and I felt comfortable leaving my dogs and the house under his care. I will definitely utilize his services again!

Chris was fantastic! Our two dogs loved her. I know she treated them like her own. She sent pictures and texted us while we were away to show us how happy the pups were. Highly recommend Chris!

Kyle took excellent care of our two pups and our one kitty for a week while we were away on vacation, which also included staying overnight to house sit. We will be definitely be using him again in the future and we highly recommend his services.
