Dog Boarding in Jamestown

Pat was amazing! Communication throughout this experience was easy and clear. She made us feel at ease with leaving our puppy with someone else for the first time. Pat even provided regular check-ins with photos so we could see how great our pup was doing. We’ll definitely be reaching back out next time we are out of town.

Sharon is a gentle soul, and matched perfectly with our deaf 8-year old cocker spaniel rescue. I love that she has only 1 dog in her home at a time, walks multiple times daily, sent plenty of pictures to keep us updated, and communicated daily with questions & how things were going. Our pooch is a homebody and doesn't want to be with anyone else. She trotted off comfortably with Sharon which left us feeling happy-in-the-heart. Great stay! Great person! Will be securing Sharon in the future but she is one busy lady so book ahead!

We are so lucky to have found Kimberly. She was an amazing help after a last minute emergency that required 2 nights of dog sitting for our Australian Shepherd. It seems like there are always a good group of other dogs at her house which our dog definitely loved playing with based on the pictures that she sent. We really appreciated her daily photos and updates. Highly recommend her services!

My dog has stayed with Dana twice now, and both times he has come home happy and exhausted from running around Dana's big backyard with her dogs. She sent updates and photos and was very responsive to messages. Thank you so much Dana!

Cocoa had his first overnight boarding with Erica and he was so happy. He enjoyed cuddles with the kids and playing with a few furry friends. I feel very comfortable leaving him with Erica. I’ll definitely be booking more visits.

Jordan was an absolute lifesaver when we needed a sitter on very short notice (after our other Rover sitter was a NO SHOW😳). She not only graciously agreed to keep Cody for us, thus saving our vacation, but she asked lots of questions and I could see afterwards that he was very well cared for. Then she even met me halfway to pick him up, saving me travel time. I’d absolutely book Jordan again if we were in the area! Thanks Jordan !

My family and I moved from San Diego, California to Newport, Rhode Island. The trip lasted about 6 days(Driving). We had our 4 month old daughter and Frida, our 2.5 year old Akita dog. The trip was great but there was a small problem, my wife and I during the trip, planned to travel to Puerto Rico to visit my mother as soon as we get to Rhode Island, without taking into account that we had Frida with us. We were used to travel all the time when we lived in San Diego because we had friends who stayed with Frida, now we have no one here in the East Coast. A friend recommended Rover, he had used this website multiple times and he loves it. What I like about Rover is all the information it contains, the daily tips and the reviews. So, we put Frida's information, what she likes what she does not like, her diet, how often she takes her vitamins pills etc. We also added the dates so it was the week of the fourth of july so you can imagine how busy it was going to be that week. When the information was already in, Rover gave us about 20 people within a 15-mile radius. Brian was the first to appear on the list, the reviews and his profile was what led us to make the decision to leave Frida with him. We were very nervous since it was the first time we left Frida with a stranger and also the first time Frida was going to interact with other dogs. Since we chose Brian, he always had communication with us since two days before leaving Frida with him. When we got to Brian's house the first thing we noticed was the huge fenced yard, that is an A +. The way he received us was as if he had known us for a long time. Frida interacted with Jake (Brian's dog) at first she was not very happy but after five minutes she started to wiggle her tail so she was ok. Brian sent us photos and updates of Frida every day without having to tell him. The details and the love he has for dogs make him unique. Thanks for the good care you and your family gave Frida.

We really appreciated all the updates about Mowgli over the course of the weekend. We were confident that he was in good hands! Thank you very much for taking such great care of him.

Yunshu and her family are so incredibly kind and caring. She has taken care of my dog on 3 separate occasions and she treats my dog like he’s her own. She always provides updates with pictures, videos and messages throughout each day of his stay. I feel fortunate to have found her and I highly recommend her for any dog sitting needs.

Lincoln had the best time with Christina. She is a true dog lover. Her, her partner, and their dog took the best of care of Lincoln. He enjoyed hikes. Lots of play time. A lot of love and came home a happy boy. Thank you again !!! 10 stars. Ryan and Lincoln

This is our second time leaving our girl with Natalia for an extended period of time, and as usual, she was fantastic in her care and communication while we were away! I got photos every day, and it was great to see my pup so happy at her house with Archie.

Karen is a Godsend. Pookie is the love of my life but he's also a rescue who was left alone for long periods of time in the past so being left causes BOTH him and I anxiety! Karen nipped that in the bud. Pookie took to her right away and she was playing w/him in her dog friendly backyard w/in 10mins. She then intro'd him to her dogs and it was evident they were very accustomed to Mom inviting friends over. They're very accepting of and gentle with the newcomer. Karen sent us pics and updates daily and it was easy to tell Pookie was more relaxed every day. These are the little things that make your vaca that much more enjoyable....not worrying about your furbaby. Thanks soo much for everything Karen, we'll certainly see you next vaca. Missy

Felt very comfortable leaving our 5 mo. old puppy in Steven’s care. During her stay with Steven, we received many updates with photos and video, which we very much appreciated. We loved that Steven took time to learn her routines and rituals to mimic her time at home as close as possible. She had a great time playing with his two dogs! We hope to use Steven’s services in the future.

Ashley and John took Seamus in for the day and evening last night. They are both very personable, experienced with owning and taking in new dogs into their home and good communicators. Seamus had a lot of fun playing in their fenced in yard with Charlie and Moose, and going on walks with John and Charlie. I received several pictures of Seamus and felt 100% confident he was in good hands and would have a great time overnight.

I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved furry companion, Mia, to Keasha's care for a weekend, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Jess was so amazing and went above and beyond while caring for our little bear during our honeymoon. We got so many (p)updates and even got a cute little painting by him celebrating our marriage. Thankful for Abu and Mocha too! They were wonderful friends for Fozzie to play with. We had trouble with our flights and times but Jess and her family were so accommodating and responsive it helped us feel at ease during our stressful travel home. Many thanks to them all making our Fozzie bear feel a part of their pack!
