House Sitting in Smithfield

This is our second time working with Marie and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things. Our pups absolutely adore Marie, she is so kind and patient with our two huskies and maintains wonderful communication with lots of updates and photos. Marie also took wonderful care of our home and even watered our plants while we were gone - we can’t wait to work her again!

One of my 2 cats is medically complicated with IBD. His prevention regimen requires great attention to detail. He’s also very nervous around new people. So I selected Heather bc of her vet tech background and her “no-fear” technique training. Heather did an overnight stay to start build rapport for an upcoming longer vacation. Much to my surprise, both cats took to Heather right away. Her fear reduction techniques worked well. I could not believe the chummy photos she was sending me on her first stay! Also there was an unexpected wrinkle in my cat’s normal regimen, and Heather handled it as I would have if I were home. I could rest easy. I also like how she confirms and repeats back instructions related to my complicated cat, bc the wrong move could set off a chain reaction of unpleasantries. I look forward to hiring her again for the vacation.

Carissa was great during her weeklong house sitting with my dog and cat. She regularly checked in with photos and updates on how they were doing, and she left my apartment exactly as I had left it. I would definitely use her services again!

Lou watched our two pups over the thanksgiving holiday in our home and I couldn’t have asked for a better person. They’re kind, communicative, and responsible. You can tell that they believe that our pets are our family and respect them as such! Both of our girls LOVED them and I felt 100 percent comfortable having them being cared for by them. 100/10 recommendation from us! Thank you Lou!!

Carley was the perfect house sitter for our large dog Moose. She frequently communicated with us while watching our dog, and sent many pictures. Moose also loved her. His ears now perk up if we mention her name!

Haley was an amazing dog sitter! She stayed at our place and not only did she take amazing care of our dogs our house was just the way that we left it. She sent me a ton of videos and photos and I knew that my dogs were happy with her. I would definitely ask her to watch my dogs again!

Love love love Heidi! She has an immediate calming effect if your dog has any anxiety. She is so kind and my pup was so happy with her while we were out. She sent pics and updates which put me at ease (even though I knew he was in great care). 🩷🐶🩷

We hired isabel to stay in our home with our two elderly pups and she took amazing care of them. She was communicative and shared lots of photos. She was very respectful of our home and left it very clean.

Anya was fantastic. She is the first sitter willing to take the time to meet our senior dog before our trip (she spent an hour) and showed no fear of her potentially aggressive behavior. Anya was patient and kind. She sent us regular updates while we were away, asked questions to ensure she was doing right by our dog and gave us a complete rundown when we returned. Our dog has a seizure disorder and this did not concern Anya one bit. We are already scheduled for Anya to come back in another month. Because of Anya, we were able to spend valuable time with family that we would not have been able to do otherwise.

Cassandra was awesome! She sent updates with pictures of our animals. The was kind and so attentive and calm with our dogs! We know they loved hanging with her and we look forward to booking with her again!

Ariel was - once again - very professional and a great dog/house sitter for our 3 dogs. She watched them for a whole weekend, sent us pictures, and left the house spotless. All the dogs were very much taken care of. Thank you!

Extremely reliable and takes animal care seriously. Even got our standoffish cat to be affectionate!
