House Sitting in Dessau

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Arturo! Our kittens absolutely adored him — he sent so many sweet updates and photos of them cuddling, playing, and happily purring, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Arturo was incredibly respectful, diligent, and clearly cared for our kittens like they were his own. He was attentive to every detail, communicated often, and made the whole experience completely stress-free. We felt 100% safe knowing they were in his care. Truly an outstanding sitter — we would highly recommend Arturo to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and wonderful with animals!

Molly was so personable and gracious with her updates, her pet sitting is top tier! She made things so easy and stress free for our quick weekend trip, even for our dog who can be a bit of an anxious mess. Would definitely recommend and book again when we have the chance. Thank you Molly!!

Marisa was absolutely amazing!! Trying out a new sitter is always a little stressful, but not this one. She was so gentle, kind, and loving with my dog Mo and provided pictures and updates daily! We knew he was in good hands and never had to worry about anything while we were out of town. She’s incredibly thoughtful and I can’t recommend her enough!! Shane was AWESOME! Our last Rover sitter (not Shane) was a terrible experience so we were very nervous about trying someone new. We interviewed Shane and did a meet up and felt comfortable with him staying at our home with our dogs. His communication was great. Shane followed all requests with our dogs and they were well taken care of. We will definitely use Shane again!

Jeremy was fantastic with our two senior dogs! He was very attentive to all of my specific requests and made sure both dogs felt comfortable and cared for while we were away. He gave them lots of love, played with them, and truly paid special attention to their needs. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We’d definitely book with him again!

Michelle is perfect for our Little Cheeper who is a kitten and was recently fixed and required to wear a cone while we were away. This of course led to a bit more requirements needed for caring for the Cheeps including a bit of extra love and pets. I am a helicopter pet parent and Michelle was very kind about it and still took my asks seriously. Little Cheeper took to Michelle easily. Her soothing and calm personality really shines through making her perfect for this. I recommend her highly and will work with her again for our next departure.

Sara was incredibly accommodating and flexible! Great communication before, during and after the pet sitting. Would recommend and hire again!

Sam was so loving and caring to our old guy. She kept me informed everyday and gave him amazing some great love! Thank you so so much for taking such good care of Buddy! ♥️

Jess was responsive and sent regular updates for our pup Jet. She also stayed a little later after we had a flight delay, which was much appreciated!

Erica took meticulous care of my family's dog Sophie. We have not traveled without Sophie altogether for years, as the last time she was so stressed she had a seizure. She is 15 years old, arthritic, a bit clumsy, and mostly deaf. This time though, in celebration of my mother completing most of her treatment for advanced stage cancer, the travel could not be put off further. This was my first time using rover and having a housesitter, in hopes of keeping Sophie comfortable. Erica followed all instructions carefully and provided photos of Sophie. She checked in with us and adjusted her care as needed to best keep Sophie comfortable. Erica even remade the bed for us, as my family didn't arrive back home until late. She also stayed a little later in the day to feed and walk Sophie one last time. Would absolutely recommend Erica :) thank you for caring for our dearly loved little Sophie!

Valda was amazing! She took time to bond with our very shy dog and make sure she was comfortable during her stay. She sent a lot of updates and pictures which was so nice. We’ll use here in the future

My senior dog Missy loves Angelica, and I trust her completely! She was prompt, responsive, and seemed to genuinely enjoy hanging with Missy. She sent great updates and photos to keep my mind at ease while away. She also left my house tidy, which was amazing! Thank you, Angelica!

Excellent check ins! Goeffrey was great with Archer and was very nice to help give last minute medicine. I would definitely book Geoffrey again in the future.

Jessica has walked our dog but this was her first time housesitting for us. She did a great job! I really appreciated all the updates with some fun details of things she had done or seen with our dog. She was punctual and reliable and made us comfortable that he was being well cared for. Kenna was wonderful and responsive. My pups and cat were calm when I got home. Will definitely be booking with her again!
