Dog Boarding in Alexandria

Rae graciously agreed to watch our dog Hettie with only 24 hours' notice (we had another dog sitter fall through). Hettie had a great time staying with Rae's two dogs. Rae sent us a few updates while we were gone, which we appreciated.

Elizabeth was amazing with Riley both for day care stay and overnight boarding! She kept us super informed with cute photos and videos and kept our pup happy and healthy during his stay. She was flexible with last minute booking and Riley can’t wait to hang out with her again!

My service with Kelly was excellent. She provided one on one time, exercise, and playtime with Leo. Kelly sent me updates everyday and it looked like Leo was so cozy just as if he had a home away from home.

Jennifer took great care of our dog Hank while we were away. She always goes the extra mile to make him feel at home. And the pictures she sends are a nice touch to keep us posted on Hank. Highly recommend!

Millie had great time! It's clear that Matthew and his family know how to take great care of a dog, they are home most (if not all) of the time which is a huge plus. Will definitely be back in the future!

I cannot recommend or thank Shane enough! He watched Daisy for five days while I was away for work, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I was nervous to leave Daisy as she is only 6 months old, but Shane made the entire process so simple and it really eliminated all concerns. He met with her ahead of time, made sure she was going to be okay with his pets, and asked all the right questions regarding food, bedtime, allergies, etc. Shane made sure I got photos & updates each day and even helped me transport Daisy’s crate since I don’t have access to a car. I will totally reach out to Shane the next time I have to travel. Thank you Shane!

Dena was so great. It was my first time using Rover cuz my usual sitter cancelled last minute putting me in a really difficult place. Thankfully Dena was super communicative and easy to work with. I really appreciate the flexibility and communication in a tough spot with my golden retriever. I really loved the quick responses and daily pics. Would definitely go with Dena again.

We joined Rover at the last minute and found Marlene who was available to watch our pup for several days on short notice. Marlene was great! She communicated with us throughout the trip and put us at ease with our first-time experience of leaving our dog in an unfamiliar environment. With the help of Marlene’s pup Pedrita, Addy seemed to settle in rather quickly which allowed us to enjoy our mini vacation without worry! We would definitely use Marlene again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!!

Donna took such good care of my dog Finny while I was away!! Finny is almost 16 years old and really picky about her food. Donna even went out and bought additional items to try to tempt Finny to eat. I could tell she really cared about my girl and went above and beyond to watch over her. She sent me pictures of Finny and kept me updated every day. My plane got delayed on the way home due to a ground stop in DC and Donna was so gracious and flexible with her schedule. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Katie was wonderful! She communicates quickly and is very understanding about my pet’s complications and pickup/drop off schedule. She made a stressful day simple for my dog and family. Thank you Katie!

Nina was excellent. She welcomed my 13 year old, anxious guy with open arms and lots of patience. She communicated well - asked questions, sent pictures and made sure she understood exactly what would make my dog feel at home with her. She walked him, took him to the dog park and treated him just like family. She was exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely book with her again.

Alesha was amazing with Poseidon! She cut his nails for me, had extra litter boxes for his use, and gave me frequent updates on his well being. She was great, will definitely ask her to watch Poseidon again!!

Francise was amazing! She sent daily updates with a lot of great photos. Really feat communication all around and flexible on pick up/drop off times. Monty is a reactive leash walker and she handled his very well. I get anxious leaving him with new people and she made me feel comfortable from day 1. Will definitely use her again!

Micheal was amazing with my girl Bubbles, he communicated quickly with3 and sent me videos and photos of her while I was away. I know Bubbles loves the yard and freedom to run around, he helped ease my first time rover experience! Can't recommend him enough!

Catherine & Nikhit took great care of my dog! I appreciate the detailed updates and photos and the time they took to take him on long walks and play with him. Would book with them again!

If I could give 10+ stars I would! Michelle and Winston are incredible hosts to any dog and especially my Little Bear. Michelle kept me in the know with the cutest photos of my little guy and snuggled him like he was her own. He didn’t even seem as pleased to see me when I came to pick him up haha which means he had such a blast. If you get the opportunity to book with michelle, do it! You will be at ease and your pup will think he’s on a vacay.

Woody had a wonderful time at Jodie and AJ’s. He had furry friends to play with and human friends to snuggle with, and I got daily updates on how he was doing.

Jessica did a great job watching my shy dog. She asked great questions about how to care for her, and my dog warmed up to her right away. She was communicative, flexible, and sent me several photos during her short stay. I would definitely recommend her!
