Dog Boarding in Alexandria

Our Labrador loves Serena and her two GSPs. Our dog is a little shy around new people so it’s telling that her tail is always wagging when Serena picks her up. They are super flexible, fair, and kind. The communication is clear and efficient. Such a relief to have Serena and Eric as a consistent option to take care of our pup when we need to travel every few months.

Greg and Melanie’s family were incredible care takers for our older dog. Their children were really helpful making our dog feel welcome when we arrived. We would look for them to watch our dog again in the future.

Eduardo and Suseth were great! Very communicative, and Remy clearly had a great time. Would certainly go to again and would recommend to anyone looking for great dog sitters.

Alissa and her husband are the best Rovers in the area!! We have booked with them a few times and our two year old guy can be sensitive and emotionally attached and upon drop off he can’t get into their home fast enough! They are so accommodating, organized, detailed and responsible. We have only great great things to say about them! They deserve 100 stars!!

Jessie and Erick did a great job taking care of Otis! Daily updates and photos were sent and we knew Otis was in good hands. Would definitely book again!

She’s by far the best sitter we’ve ever had. This was our second time leaving our dog with her, and once again, she was amazing. She is super reliable, always available, and incredibly flexible. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our dog was in such good hands.

Michael was great. Sent a lot of pictures of our dog playing with the other 2 dogs and ours seemed to have a great time. Would definitely book again.

I sincerely cannot say enough good about Katie. She and her pup Henry took such good care of our little wild child while we were away. We received picture and video updates in which Juniper was having the time of her life and we began wondering if it was her or us that was really getting the vacation. We truly could not have left our girl in more capable hands than with Katie and I have to give special props to Henry as well for putting up with Juniper even when she was doing her best to annoy him as only a puppy can—and with her endless Jack Russell energy to boot! Thank you so much, Katie (and Henry), this was the easiest five stars I’ve ever given!

Aisha and her son were great. She was responsive and sent a daily picture of Chloe. She was able to keep Chloe gated off (as she tends to have accidents in her old age) Will use them again!

Kathleen was a great sitter for Bear. It was our first time using rover for an overnight stay, and she was super accommodating, communicative, and considerate to our needs and Bears. I would definitely leave him with her again.

My dog Elvie had the best time with Michelle! Michelle sent me photos and updates for the duration of her stay. Elvie came back exhausted from loving being with Michelle’s family and fenced in yard. Elvie and I will both be excited for her to stay with Michelle again!

This was my first time using Rover and Brian did not disappoint. He offered to care for our dog with rather short notice, and the care he then provided to our pup was outstanding. I got multiple photos and updates per day, and I could easily see that our pet was comfortable and very well cared for. I would definitely recommend Brian and will definitely use him again in the future.

My dog got very comfortable during her stay with Rae, she made friends with the rest of the dogs under Rae’s supervision, and Rae was very attentive to all my Penny’s sensitivities. I have a very happy pup!

Amanda and her family were wonderful to our little dog Oso. We had a sitter fall through at the last moment before an event while we were traveling. She made sure to send lots of photos to ease my mind that our dog was being well taken care of while we were at a dinner party. The fact that our little dog got to meet Amanda’s lovely family was great as our dog loves kids. We are so thankful for Amanda and she even removed our dog’s sweater since she seemed uncomfortable. That level of attentiveness was so appreciated and made us feel our dog was in wonderful hands with someone attentive to her needs in an unfamiliar place. Thank you so much Amanda for being able to help us at the very last moment with our 11 month old puppy Oso!

Highly recommend! She was amazing and provided a comfortable environment for my dog. He has separation anxiety, but did super well at her place.

We always trust Geoff and Lizzy to take good care of our pup. Love how we get frequent updates and pictures. Our pup comes home happy and tired!

Helen is the absolute best. She is so kind and sends such great updates, and I can tell how much she really cares about my dog. She also did a great job at getting him to take his meds which he has a really sneaky way of getting around. She is as sweet as can be and always my first choice whenever I need someone to watch him.
