Dog Boarding in Alexandria

Elizabeth had our pooch for 5 nights, and we had plenty of updates throughout! This was during the big Jan 2026 snow/ice storm, and she was very flexible with dropoff and pickup times due to the roads not being cleared yet. Our pooch seemed well taken care of! Would def book again.

Julie is incredible! I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my dog, Ruby, with someone. She came by beforehand to meet her, which put me at ease right away. Throughout the booking, Julie kept me updated with photos and videos and was genuinely kind and attentive. Ruby has tons of energy, and Julie went above and beyond to make sure she got plenty of exercise and care. I’ve never felt so relaxed during a long trip. Julie truly made everything effortless. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Millie had great time! It's clear that Matthew and his family know how to take great care of a dog, they are home most (if not all) of the time which is a huge plus. Will definitely be back in the future!

Rae is the best sitter! It’s abundantly clear that she cares for Milo. He has a great time with her and the other pups and comes home happy and healthy (and tired from all the playtime!) As soon as we pull up he rushes to the door to see her. She’s a great communicator with me and has offered tips&tricks about his ongoing training.

Jennifer took really good care of my pup while I was out of town. It helped me enjoy my time away knowing Pom was safe and taken care of. Thanks Jennifer!!

We had a fantastic experience with this Donna whose calm, gentle demeanor put our dog at ease right away. Donna sent the detailed updates throughout the stay, which made us feel completely confident that everything was going smoothly. It’s clear that Donna genuinely cares about the animals and we’d happily book again and highly recommend!

I cannot recommend or thank Shane enough! He watched Daisy for five days while I was away for work, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I was nervous to leave Daisy as she is only 6 months old, but Shane made the entire process so simple and it really eliminated all concerns. He met with her ahead of time, made sure she was going to be okay with his pets, and asked all the right questions regarding food, bedtime, allergies, etc. Shane made sure I got photos & updates each day and even helped me transport Daisy’s crate since I don’t have access to a car. I will totally reach out to Shane the next time I have to travel. Thank you Shane!

Catherine and Nikhit took excellent care of my pup while I was on vacation. They provided daily updates and pictures. Even at the meet and greet, they were so gentle and caring as my pup is usually anxious. I highly recommend them.

This is our third time Rovering with Nani!! We’ve loved the updates she sends, the inviting atmosphere that Nani and her other two dogs provide, and the outstanding care and attention she gives to our stressed out pup, Toby! Thank you so much!

Nina was very professional: polite, punctual, and proactive. She met me before taking the job, and provided feedback and pictures during the stay.

Spencer just had a first boarding stay with Jessica, and it was good. She kept me updated with photos and comments, and was flexible about dropoff and pickup times. I would happily use her for boarding again.

Kayla was awesome! She watched our two year old cocker spaniel Alfie while we went to the beach. Immediately Alfie felt at home. She took great care of him, so much so that he almost didn't want to come home!

This was only the 2nd time our pandemic dog had been left with a sitter. Lauren sent many pictures of the two of them snuggled up on the couch or hanging out with her dog. Lauren was very accommodating about our flight delay on the day of pickup.

Brittany took great care of Dash! She communicates promptly, listened to my requests, and was flexible with changes as I was planning my trip. I would definitely use her again for sitting and would recommend her to others.

Melanie and Greg were very responsive and have wonderful children that are loving and respectful of animals. I knew my mini golden doodle was having the time of his life getting cuddles and belly rubs. Would definitely have my pup stay with them again.

Marlene did an amazing job caring for my old boy. I really appreciated how she didn’t take on other dogs while taking care of Loki. She put her focus on him (and of course her own little pup). Marlene was sending me pictures now and then, which is better than all the time. And all the pictures showed how well Loki was cared for and how much freedom he was given in her home. Marlene is definitely worth a booking…on your end. She will most definitely be a booking for me.

Thank you Brian. You and your wife took such great care of my little guy. He was having so much fun he didn't even want to leave. Your prompt responses to question, consistent daily updates and dog friendly home really made this experience a wonderful care free experience for both Simon and I. Look forward to the next booking.

Tehani took great care of my dog and kept me updated daily on activities by also sending pictures. Easy process to schedule and coordinate care.

Alesha took great care of Ruby and kept us updated on how the stay was going. She was even flexible when we had travel delays coming back. Ruby says she would definitely stay with Alesha again!
