House Sitting in Alexandria

Holly was great with my shy dog! She was very patient and allowed her time to get comfortable. I really appreciated her communication throughout the stay and the daily photos of their walks.

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Connor and Bailey while we were away for almost 2 weeks. Deloris took amazing care of both dogs, sent daily updates and pictures that gave us so much peace of mind, and truly treated them like her own. She even went out of her way to get more dog food when they were running low, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive sitter.

Erica is truly an exceptional pet sitter, and we feel so lucky to have found her. She stayed overnight with our sweet older girl, Petri, for a few nights and took such incredible care of her. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing Petri was not only safe, but genuinely happy and loved while we were away. Erica went above and beyond by sending thoughtful photo updates that showed Petri having the time of her life—something that meant so much to us. It’s clear how much she cares and how naturally she connects with animals, especially senior pets who need that extra level of attention. On top of that, she took wonderful care of our home, leaving everything just as we left it (if not better). Erica is reliable, kind, and truly dedicated. We’re so grateful to have her as our go-to pet sitter and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust with their furry family members.

Michaela did a great job in-home sitting my 4 month old puppy who is still potty training, learning outdoor walks, and is in his teething phase. None of this phased her and she was able to attend to everything he needed and anything I told her about beforehand. I had to leave unexpectedly early for a family emergency and she was adaptable and willing to meet a fellow dog sitter who was watching my puppy so she could meet him and see the apartment the day before. She was very accommodating in extending the stay when I needed it and sent me great updates on my puppy’s potty training progress and the best schedule she followed. Overall, she’s very responsible, communicative and an all around wonderful dog sitter and I can’t recommend her enough! :)

Nicole was so great! Nicole kept in constant touch with photos and updates on the pups, and it was clear they were very well cared for while we were away. She was conscientious about coming over ahead of the visit to learn their schedule and routine, and it all went so smoothly. We are really appreciative and would gladly work with Nicole again.

Orianne was an incredible pet sitter! She was kind, caring, and conscientious, and took the time to understand our dog's individual needs. Our dog can be anxious, and she handled that with so much patience and compassion, helping him feel comfortable and secure. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates that gave us real peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared about our dog's well-being, and we will definitely be asking her to help us again. Highly recommend!

We have had Ian care for our 2 dogs a number of times. He consistently provides exceptional care for both our animals and our home. We always return home to a clean and secure house, and our boys are always calm and contented, showing no stress from our absence. Ian is a reliable, responsible and caring individual who genuinely loves animals, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found someone we can trust with our “furry children”. What’s more, he is happy to take on extra responsibilities around the house, such as watering our lawn, garden and indoor plants – the lawn was notably greener on our return which was wonderful given the lack of rain in recent weeks. We highly recommend Ian and have already booked his services again. We will continue to do so!

I rebooked Lindsey for the 2nd time because the 1st was a success. She's reliable, communicative and very responsive to any requests, inquiries or concerns. She took great care of my two babies and sends regular updates as well as inform me of any concerns or issues while I'm gone. I highly recommend!

Am super grateful for this first housesit Christine did for us. Three somewhat needy creatures we have. Not only did she fulfill a special feeding routine (3 meals for the 3 per day, plus treats), she engaged our 2 orange tabby indoor kitties in play (not a lot needed, but they are particular about how they play). AND she won our sometimes and unpredictably grumpy malshi's heart in the smart combination of no eye-contact, and connecting thru tricks with treats (rewards for two way communication, acknowledgment). I'm persnickety about how to manage the litter, for behavior's and cleanliness sake; that and our plants and the rest of our home were well cared for. Thank you Christine! See you again soon.

Jessica was a wonderful sitter to watch our puppy, Mackey. She brought her cute dog Ernie and they had a great time playing and napping together! Jessica was very communicative, giving us photo and text updates while we were away, which we really appreciated. She was responsible and cared about our dog’s comfort. We would absolutely have Jessica back to watch Mackey and would highly recommend her to other pet parents!

Laurie was so wonderful! She communicated frequently and took great care of our boys. No notes whatsoever. Will absolutely be booking with her in the future as well.

Jack loved his long walks and cuddles!!

We have two nervous small dogs and left Alexa with them for five days. She continually sent us photos and texts so we never had to worry about our dogs. The dogs loved here and were great when we returned home. I will use Alexa for our trips from now on. She did a great job and we highly recommend her.

Jeannie is incredible with my babies. She is amazing with communication and picture updates which I love and the house is always better than when I left. Thank you for all you do!

Bri was an amazing sitter! From the very beginning, she was a great communicator and made us feel completely at ease. We did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and our dogs took to her immediately-it was like she was the dog whisperer! Being so far away, it meant a lot to know our dogs were in such caring hands. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed spending time with them and truly appreciated their personalities, which made us feel even better about leaving them. Even though she wasn’t feeling her best, she still gave 110%. She showed up as promised, took wonderful care of our dogs, and kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Bri and would absolutely book with her again!
