House Sitting in Botetourt East

We were worried about leaving our 2 very spoiled dogs behind while we left the country for two weeks for a family reunion. Sharon put our minds at ease within just a few minutes of our meeting her. She did not just take care of them while we were away, she stayed with them overnight and gave them attention we could only have expected from a family member. We received regular reports and photos, and when we returned we were elated to find our house exactly as we left it, neat and tidy with our beloved pets healthy and happy. No kennel, or self-proclaimed "doggy retreat," could compare to having a dog wise, conscientious person like Sharon caring for them in their home. Their only worry was missing mom and dad for 2 weeks. Sharon is the best.

Trina recently stayed at my home for two nights and cared for my dog, Sunny, and I couldn’t have had a better experience. She arrived right on time, read and followed all instructions carefully, and asked thoughtful questions to be sure everything was done just right. She communicated clearly throughout my trip, and I felt completely at ease knowing Sunny was in good hands. When I returned, my home was just as I’d left it and Sunny was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, conscientious, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend Trina and will definitely ask her to watch Sunny again!

Outstanding! Stacy, is top notch. She was very attentive to our pets and their individual needs and quirks. She was calm in the face of the adversity my escape artist pets brought over the weekend. She kept my boys safe and happy and sent cute photos along the way. She left my house better than when she arrived. Would recommend her anyone and everyone. Very grateful she is offering such incredible service for pets.

Steve and Wanda are just 2 beautiful people who loves animals and to help. We travel a lot overseas to see our parents and they are always willing to stay at our place for a few weeks at a time. During their stay they walk our dogs every day and gave them love and attention like they were their own. Our cat actually picked up some weight something we struggle with, thank you! Our little Pomeranian got sick and Wanda and Steve were on it and eager to help with advice from the Veterinarian. We are so thankful for ever meeting you on Rover. We will use you everytime when you are available.

Peyton was wonderful with my lab Gretchen. She sent photos of their adventures and took great care of both my dog and my home. We will definitely continue book with Peyton!

Justine was absolutely amazing while watching our dog! She was very responsive, sent photos, and made sure Katori was well taken care of. We will definitely be using her again in the future!

we have used Cecilia twice now and plan to use her much more in the future as well! We were stuck six hours away with our keys locked in the car and she stayed long enough to make sure that our pups were safe. Consistent pictures and funny anecdotes to follow, she’s one of the best dog sitters we’ve had! Highly recommend if you are looking for someone who can give you the peace and comfort of knowing that your pups are being truly taken care of.

Repeat pet parent. Machalah is wonderful. Keeps me well informed, sends regular pics of my fur babies, is quick to respond to messages, & leaves the house tidy.

We were so happy with the care Stephanie provided for our two high-energy dogs, who also have a bit of separation anxiety. They felt comfortable with her right away, which gave us great peace of mind. This was our first time leaving them with a pet sitter, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. When we returned, our dogs were excited to see us but also calm, happy, and content, a clear sign that they had been well cared for. Stephanie sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated, and her communication throughout was excellent. She also left our home in great condition. We would absolutely trust Stephanie with our dogs (and house) again and highly recommend her to others!
