House Sitting in Chickahominy Shores

We have a 13 YO mostly deaf boy (Luke) with separation anxiety. Luke was very anxious on our meet and greet with a lot of barking so we felt it would be helpful to have one night away before our longer trip to make sure both Amanda and Luke were comfortable with each other. Amanda’s stay with Luke was simple and flawless. He even rolled on his walks which was a sign of his comfort level with her. Amanda is very quick to respond and shared a lot of information and photos about their day. I know he will be in good hands when our longer trip comes around.

Ashton was very communicative and took great care of our babies! She took tons of pictures and gave them a lot of love for us. Definitely gave us peace of mind leaving town and we’ll book again for our next trip!!

Fantastic first experience on Rover! Lily and Philip were great at communicating and wonderful with both of our animals. I look forward to booking with them again.

Christina was amazing. She is a definite pet person. She was wonderful with our two Havanese that aren’t accustomed to having a sitter. One dog is clingy and the other is afraid of everything. Christina treated them so kindly and followed our guidance perfectly. She sent loads of photos that enabled us to see how well the dogs were doing. Now that we have a wonderful caregiver for our fur babies we can start planning our next trip. I would recommend Christina without any reservations whatsoever.

As always, Oli took special good care of our home and our pups. We got detailed updates and pics daily. Having Oli stay at our home allows us to enjoy our travel without having to worry about whether or not our dogs will be loved and kept company:)

Linda came for a pre-visit for an upcoming overnight trip. I liked that Linda was right on-time and our dog was quickly calmed by her gentle approach. She is clearly very experienced and while this was a short visit my family was reassured Linda was the right person for the job. We look forward to seeing her again soon and I highly recommend her services.

Lena was simply the best, I have not felt this comfortable with a sitter in a long while. She was timely, had amazing communication and loved our boy so well! I came home and couldn’t even tell she had been there because she cared for our home so well. I’d leave 20 stars if I could!

Tracy did great with my boy! She spent lots of time with him and gave him lots of love! He was very spoiled so I will definitely be using her again!

Jenny D. took excellent care of our dog, Bear, and our home during our 5-day vacation. She sent multiple updates each day with lots of pictures and videos of Bear playing, which we really appreciated. Communication was clear, frequent, and responsive to all of our requests. When we returned, our house was tidy and well cared for. We would book with Jenny again and recommend her!

Tiffany did an amazing job! Sent me so many photos and updates while she was watching Gus. She also left my apartment very clean. Will be using her again.

Isaiah was great watching our dogs! He was very responsive and communicative during the day. Our dogs were happy and our home was clean after a long weekend. Will definitely be using him again!

Ada is very communicative and gives our energetic doggy lots of love and attention. She went above and beyond when our pup wasn't feeling well and had an accident. Thanks so much for everything.

Rochelle was fantastic! From our initial meet-and-greet to the moment we arrived back home, I knew our three senior Goldendoodles were in great hands. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with their potty breaks, feeding schedule, and plenty of photos and videos that gave us peace of mind while we were away. She also went above and beyond to make sure our pups stayed comfortable during a major thunderstorm, a power outage, and 4th of July fireworks. On top of taking such wonderful care of our dogs, Rochelle left our home spotless, which we truly appreciated. I highly recommend Rochelle to anyone looking for high-quality, dependable care for their fur babies. We will absolutely be booking with her again in the future. Briar is a conscientious and caring pet sitter who genuinely enjoys playing with the dogs she looks after. She has been very patient and solicitous with my skittish spaniel, who nevertheless requires a good deal of attention and activity, and I know after hiring Briar on two occasions that I can rely on her to give my spaniel the attention and stimulation she needs. It’s such a relief to know that I can rely on Briar to offer such care and affection in my absence. I highly recommend her.
