Barb, The Relief Every Pet Owner Needs Over the years, I grew increasingly scared to leave my 3 cats in a stranger's care. If needed I always drove them to my parents but it became clear that the roadtrip stressed them out more than if I had just left them at home and had a stranger come by the house. As a 1st time Rover user, Barb was a perfect find! She made the whole process unbelievably breezy. She very punctual to the meet and greet she set up the same day I sent my request. I ran her through the cat's litter and feeding schedule and already felt good about her. Immediately after this meet and greet, she sent me a screenshot of the notes she took afterwards which were notes on the food/water/litter instructions we had discussed for the brief meet. This really sealed it for me; not only did Barb exhibit great memory recall but also great attention to detail which is certainly needed in pet care. I had Barb check in twice a day for my 3 cats for a total of 9 days. She is very punctual to the times discussed and an expert with sending photos of furry loved ones to ease anxieties. She also made sure I was made aware of any event that occurred immediately in the Rover Card for that very check-in time. When responding to her or asking her questions she was quick and attentive with her responses. One of my cats loves to escape and is a bit of a "queen of the house" type of cat so she gets a bit protective of "her home" and after giving Barb some tips and tricks in what we do, my cat became calmer and more accepting of Barb as more check-ins occurred. They grew closer towards the end which is a testament of Barb's personality and care qualities. My other 2 cats are shy ones so there was a worry that we wouldn't be able to confirm if they were eating or not. But eventually Barb's calm and gentle presence coaxed them out enough to be spotted for a food grab or a hydration stop every now and then. Overall, having Barb as a first time Rover sitter and first time pet sitter was a perfect match and I feel lucky to have had her watching over my pets.

Alison is our #1 choice for her attention to detail, above-and-beyond communication, and loving care for our cats. It's difficult to leave a geriatric pet, and this time there was a medical situation. Alison's prompt and thorough notes allowed us to make the right choice in calling the vet, and she was certain to make sure he was recovered and settled after his return; even giving him oral medicine (quite an accomplishment). All that plus winning over our other cat (the diva) and sending fantastic photos.

Watched my cat Pepper while I was away and treated her very well. Pepper won’t want me to leave again but will be happy when Sophia returns when I do! 😄

It was my first time using a pet sitting service and Musa made it a great experience for both myself and my sweet girl, Chai. I was a bit frazzled as it was a last minute arrangement but Musa was cool and collected and I could tell Chai immediately felt comfortable w/him in his home. On picking her up, I was greeted by his whole family and knew Chai was very well cared (and doted on) for in her time with them. Would highly recommend!

We hired Lisa for a last-minute trip to visit family, and she was a fantastic housesitter. From the start, she put us at ease and we felt confident our two cats would be well cared for. She was super communicative, sent frequent photo updates, and was flexible with our changing plans. When it looked like our dog care might fall through, she was even willing to step in and help with her too. Lisa went above and beyond - she assured us she’d check in on the cats again if anything came up with our travels, and we came home to an impeccably clean house. She even washed the sheets, which made coming home that much better. We’ll definitely be hiring her again!

Finlay is excellent - she took lots of time to make sure my cats were well cared for and took care of small things around the house that completely slipped my mind. (Like putting our forgotten bananas in the freezer)

Tricia is wonderful!! She took great care of our cats, and I'm pretty sure the house was cleaner when we returned than when we left it! She was very responsive and sent pictures and updates for every visit. We highly recommend her and will request her again!

Phoebe is the best! She’s kind, dependable, and Smokey is totally obsessed with her. It’s such a great feeling knowing we can leave town and our girl is not just cared for, but truly loved. Phoebe gives us total peace of mind—and we always come home to a happy, purring kitty. Can’t recommend her enough!

Christina was excellent as always! Took great care of our cats with regular updates. She even drove back after her visit to save a package from the rain. We're moving out of state, and our next sitter will have some _big_ shoes to fill.

Victoria was amazing! I needed someone last minute for drop-in visits with my cat during a work trip, and she was incredibly accommodating and responsive from the start. She made the whole process so much less stressful and took great care of my cat while I was away. I really appreciated the updates, reliability, and genuine care she showed.
