Dog Boarding in Mechanicsville

Amy did an awesome job with our 5 month olds small ( 5 lbs) dig, Lucy. We’re new puppy parents and was very nervous leaving our pup for 10 days! Amy loved her, took great care of Lucy & sent me updated 2x a day about Lucy and how she was doing. It was so nice to have other friendly dogs for her to play with. We are using Amy again

Highly recommend Matt. We use him for both daycare and boarding. We love that he is so quick to respond, always sends updates with photos, is a great communicator, and always has other dogs over which is great for our social Winnie. We never have any concerns. Matt's also been very flexible when we unexpectedly run late and pick up our dog behind schedule. Thank you Matt for always taking good care of our dog!

Daved and Peyton took great care of our dogs! They both came home more relaxed and comfortable than they've ever been after staying away from home. I think Cider (7 months old) learned some valuable things about how to be a dog from getting to spend time with their sweet pups. Our dogs had lots of space and time to play with other good-natured, sociable dogs, but also a safe spot gated off where they could rest and relax by themselves.

Hilary and her family were very kind with our pup. They walked him everyday, sometimes two or three times a day. Hilary is communicative and followed our directions for our dog. We were on vacation for a week and she sent photos and videos.

Raye is the best! It’s such a comfort leaving Reggie with someone who clearly loves dogs and creates a fun and safe environment that also fosters socialization with other pups. Many boarding places either have breed restrictions and/or limited “play time”. Raye doesn’t discriminate purely based on breed and offers tons of open play time within a home environment. Would highly recommend!

Everything was great! Damacia was the best. Very responsive and accommodating. I believe that she took great care of Dilynn because when she got home, she was whining once she was dropped off. She must’ve had the time of her life. Definitely will be booking with Damacia again.

Cyndi was fantastic with our pup Ruby! She constantly communicated with us and sent so many photos. We could tell that our dog had the best time there! Will definitely utilize Cyndi again

This was our first time using a non-family pet sitter so we were cautious. Amy was great at communicating, arranging a park meet-up and then a home visit. While we were away, she regularly sent updates and photos. It helped us feel at ease knowing our dog was well cared for. We were very happy with Amy!

Amye took fabulous care of my little girl, Abby! I had had never left Abby with anyone except family but Amye made me feel very comfortable and confident at our meet and greet. She sent me daily pictures and it was easy to see how well Abby was doing. She even gave Abby a bed that she had and Abby preferred it to her own bed! I will be using Amye again without hesitation!

Susan and her family took excellent care of our puppy, Ramen, while we were away! We especially appreciated the update photos. He really enjoyed playing with the other dogs and came home happy and healthy! We would definitely book again. Thanks so much!!

Jesse was fantastic watching our golden retriever for three nights while we were out of town. He sent lots of updates and photos. Highly recommend, would book again!

My dog, Penny, had a great time with Michelle and her sweet dog!! Communication was great, and I didn’t worry once while we were out of town. This was my first time leaving my dog with Michelle, and I feel like I’ve hit the lottery!! Absolutely, the best experience and I will definitely be asking her to sit for Penny again…I actually think my dog is a little sad to be home. I cannot be more grateful…

Julie was absolutely fantastic with Negrito. She won him over right away with treats and he didn't even realize when I left him. Julie sent pictures everyday and it was clear that Negrito was having a great time! If you're looking for a reliable and genuine pet loving sitter, look no further than Julie. What a great urban oasis for my little guys. Amanda is wonderful, Chauncey and Gherkin seemed instantly at home in their wonderful home with cute backyard right in the museum District. You can tell Amanda and her partner really love dogs. So thankful I found them.

Sheri was so great with Tripp for New Years Eve. She said they couldn’t hear the fireworks so he didn’t have to worry. She even bought him a special hat for the night and he seems to really like her too. A+ Rover. Thanks for treating my boy like family!

Michaela is an amazing and dedicated dog sitter! She’s very personable and professional as well. She provided us regular updates and photos of our two pups, Rodger and Bailey. She accommodated our dog who has known back/neck issues and was patient with our other dog who is reactive. We highly recommend her to anyone else! :)

Le’Quitta did an EXCELLENT job caring for my quirky dog, Penny! I knew my dog would be in good and safe hands the moment I met Le’Quitta. This is only the second time I’ve left my dog with a Rover sitter, and I hit the jackpot both times. Penny now thinks of Le’Quitta and her family as part of our family.
