Pet Sitting in Rio

Catherine did a marvelous job with drop in visits for our two adult kitties. Each day she fed them, freshened their water, & scooped their boxes. She made an effort to pet each one (only one allowed it, lol) & learn their names. Her communications to us were detailed & full of care. We loved getting the cute photos, too. We’re happy to add one more positive review to the many here & we look forward to connecting in the future!

Ed was great with my dogs, five of them! He read the notes thoroughly as my dogs are apprehensive with strangers. He took his time getting them to warm up to him. I appreciate the extra steps that he took to clean up poop in my yard, wash some pee blankets, and clean up any accidents. I will definitely use him again.

Jordan was amazing! She accepted a last minute drop in visit for Theo and made the whole experience stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of him. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. I really appreciate her flexibility and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Danielle took beautiful care of our tuxedo cat again! After every visit she sent a sweet report on how iole was doing, and on how they interacted and played together. Danielle also sent amazing pix that somehow captured life at cat level. Thank you, Danielle!

Emilee is a great sitter! She was always on time and very reliable. There was always a quick response to questions and she was very sweet with our two cats. I highly recommend Emilee.

Yana did an awesome job with our two very shy cats! They always hide from new people, but Yana took the time to find them during each visit and spend time at our house so they grew accustomed to her. By the end of the week, they were coming to her for treats and cuddles (they don't always warm up to everyone!). Yana was also an excellent communicator and shared lots of great photos, so we knew our pets were well and in good hands. When we got home, our kitties seemed relaxed and happy, and our house (including their feeding and litterbox areas) was very clean. Would definitely recommend Yana to other pet owners!

Basil was awesome! She took great care of my Husky girl, even making sure had dry paws before coming back into the house after a walk on a rainy morning. Thanks Basil!

Makenna is fantastic. This is her second time, looking after our pets and she was great giving us updates, went above and beyond, and was very responsive. We will definitely be reaching out to her again to look after all of our animals.

Bertie & Lissette took wonderful care of my dog, Briggs, during a very last-minute weekend trip. As a first-time Rover user, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but they exceeded my expectations in every way. They responded quickly and enthusiastically, arrived as scheduled, and provided regular updates, including photos and videos that gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Briggs looked happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for throughout his stay. Communication was excellent, the feedback was helpful, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to book with Bertie & Lissette again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet sitters.

I originally booked with Mitch for two evening drop-ins. My cat can be skittish with new people, and he was very calm and patient with her during a meet and greet before the trip. My cat went missing before Mitch came for his first drop-in, and he still helped with looking around the area at the scheduled time. He was communicative throughout. I so appreciate the help and would recommend booking with him!

We booked Megan to check in on our two scaredy-cats for a weekend while we were away. Communication was good, litter boxes were clean, and we received a couple pictures of our silly boys in hiding. We plan to use her again!
