Dog Boarding in Smithfield

My husband and I recently had to go out of town last minute and were scrambling to find a sitter for our two older German Shepherds, Ginny and Leya, as all the boarding places we could think of in the area had no availability. I was nervous about using Rover, but I’m so glad I found Jess and would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a safe and caring place to leave their pups. Jessica went out of her way to set up a meet and greet the same day I contacted her and made us feel comfortable leaving our dogs in her care from the start. While they were there, Ginny and Leya were treated like part of the family and were clearly very well taken care of. Jess sent regular updates along with plenty of pics and videos to reassure us everything was going well throughout our trip. We will definitely be using her again the next time we need someone to take care of our girls!

Lisa was fantastic! She took such good care of our boy, Todd, for a week. She was attentive to Todd’s needs and was great with sending updates. Would recommend to anyone! We will book again if opportunity arises. 🥰

Emily did a great job! I recently moved to the area and needed a sitter for my 3 terriers. She sent pics everyday which was nice. One of them has anxiety so it made me feel at ease. They ran and played in the yard as well. I would definitely recommend her.

Beldin was so exhausted from running around with friends and he was excited to see us but would have happily stayed with Janel. She was very flexible about drop off/pick up times, sent pics and updates, and was super easy to work with. We will be booking his next stay very soon!

100% recommend Meg! She took care of my two dogs for over a week, and they came home so happy! I received daily updates and pics. She treated my pups like they were her own ☺️

Wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!! I am so amazed! Pat and Kamie did an amazing job with my eight week old puppy. I had an unexpected event come up, and I needed an urgent sitter. I received so many detailed updates throughout the day! I was able to work and not be worried. Kamie was so, so detailed! She took thorough notes in the beginning. Their home is beautiful and clean! There were toys readily available for my puppy! Their home was puppified— didn’t have to worry about my puppy destroying anything. I haven’t had the opportunity to explore different brands of treats to my puppy yet; Kamie and Pat offered to try some of their treats out with my puppy. I got some new ideas from them. This was such an amazing experience! I received so many pictures and videos throughout the day. I truly believe my puppy enjoyed her time with this couple. Should I ever need assistance in the future, I will absolutely contact Kamie and Pat again! My goodness! This was such a great experience!

Loved all the updates I was sent from Hillary. My dog had so much fun with her kids and she was so happy with all the walks she was taken on. Hillary was very patient and understanding throughout the entire booking, would definitely go to her again!

Rosalyn and her family are the Best pet sitter ever!!! She will not disappoint your fur baby with be taken cared of and because one of there family members and they will receive many rubs walks attention and love that your baby won’t have time to be sad at all! She also communicates and gives reports every single day with pictures she also accommodated me while on a cruise couldn’t get service so she downloaded another app so she could communicate with me!!! Rosalyn and her family are the best in town!!!!!🥰

Tera is a blessing. She took excellent care of my dog. I was very impressed with her attentive service. My dog had a good time, which meant I could enjoy myself knowing my dog was being cared for properly. I will use Tera whenever I’m in town and I’m recommending her services to anyone who truly love there dog.

Another great stay with Lisa and her family. Jax seems to be very comfortable there! I will definitely continue using her services when I am out of town.

The booking process was very simple and the communication was great the entire duration. My sweet girl had a great time with Chris and his fiancé. I received pictures and updates. I will definitely be scheduling with them in the near future!

Aurelie was fantastic and very communicative while pet sitting my two dogs. She sent lots of cute pictures and made sure my boys had everything they needed to be comfortable. I will absolutely book with Aurelie again!

Julie and Kenneth were great! Having never used Rover before, my wife and I were nervous at first leaving Ollie but Julie and Kenneth made everything easier. Between the great communication, both before and after Ollie’s stay, and the pictures of him having fun, this whole experience was great. Thank you very much!!

Having to leave your dog during the holidays is never fun, but S’more couldn’t have been in better hands than Tameka’s (and her own sweet pup Mia is a wonderful playmate). She kept us updated with pictures through her stay. S’more acted like she was just right at home from our first meet and greet through dropping her off and was her usual self when we picked her up. We will definitely be booking with Tameka again next time the need arises!

Cynthia is the best! In our first time using Rover, we left our 2-year old dalmatian with her for 3 weeks (we did a trial night first with Cynthia). We never felt that Cynthia had anything but love for Allie and were very comfortable leaving her for such a long time. Through the daily updates and pictures we were getting, it was clear Allie was getting enough playtime, walks, and cuddles to feel perfectly at home. A bonus of staying with Cynthia is that she will watch a couple dogs during the day, which means Allie had new friends (and some repeats) to play with every day. We really appreciate all the love that Cynthia gave our baby girl (Allie NEEDS her cuddles) and will definitely recommend her and use her again in the future!

Gail took really good care of my Foxie. Every picture she sent me, Foxie seemed very relaxed and comfortable with Gail and the other dogs that were there. Will definitely be booking again!!

Nathanaelle and fiancé took such great care of Milo and Charlie. She always kept me updated with their wellbeing and sent me lots of pictures I definitely appreciate that. I will be using her again

We were hesitant leaving our dog with someone we didn’t know and wanted to use a family member but once we met Reggie & Kelly, they felt just like family especially with our dog Boba. We did a meet and greet prior to his boarding and I was surprised our dog wasn’t shaking or growling at them when they held him for the first time. He’s usually anxious and nervous around new people. We were all sad to leave him prior to our trip but they helped us feel at ease with texting us updates and lots of pictures with our dog smiling. Looked like he had a great week with them. They took him around on car rides, dog parks, walks and played with him the whole week. I am so happy we found Reggie & Kelly!! They are the absolute best at caring for your dog. So glad to find someone we can trust and will be contracting them again for future stays. Thanks so much again Reggie & Kelly!!!!
