Dog Boarding in Smithfield

Absolutely awesome experience knowing Canela was not only boarded over New years weekend but had a blast playing in Janel’s backyard with the other dogs in her care. Could not have asked for a better place and probably my next go-to place for Canela’s boarding needs. Perfect.

My husband and I recently had to go out of town last minute and were scrambling to find a sitter for our two older German Shepherds, Ginny and Leya, as all the boarding places we could think of in the area had no availability. I was nervous about using Rover, but I’m so glad I found Jess and would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a safe and caring place to leave their pups. Jessica went out of her way to set up a meet and greet the same day I contacted her and made us feel comfortable leaving our dogs in her care from the start. While they were there, Ginny and Leya were treated like part of the family and were clearly very well taken care of. Jess sent regular updates along with plenty of pics and videos to reassure us everything was going well throughout our trip. We will definitely be using her again the next time we need someone to take care of our girls!

I often leave my dogs at Isaac and Omaira’s place. They’re usually so excited when I pick them up. This time when we put them in my car and they realized they were leaving, they cried! That lets me know that they love them. Thanks again guys!

Best compliment is the way our dog wags her tail in excitement when we arrive at Emily’s house! She really cares about our dog and integrates her into the family. Her daughters are great with our “senior dog” and she’s never lonely.

They were able to fit in my two dogs for the weekend last minute, and was able to schedule time for meet and greet beforehand. They were very accommodating, understanding and welcoming.

I left Milo and teddy with Jackie and Kevin from 4/12/26-4/19/26. They treated my dogs very well and also kept me updated by sending me the pictures of my dogs. I can tell Milo and teddy were very relaxed and comfortable with them. I really appreciate them for taking care of my dogs and will definitely reach out to them again in the future.

We can’t thank Shanae enough. We recently took in our for baby (she was rehomed) and she came with some challenges. Shanae was understanding and patient with our baby. We would definitely use her again 🥰

I’m so happy I chose Lisa R to keep my dog. She kept me posted with pictures and videos daily. I felt very safe and at ease leaving my dog with her. I saw her compassion for dogs immediately when we met. My very active and vocal beagle was happy and healthy when we picked her up. I am confident that she could handle any emergency that came up. I will use Lisa again when we leave town or even a day visit. Lori S

Rodney was incredible and made Layla feel right at home. Not only was he very attentive to her, but he provided frequent updates on their day and how she was doing; this included how far they walked and how long her walks took. Booking with Rodney was a last minute need, however, I’m so glad to have found him and will definitely be booking with him again!

Emily was once again amazing! I could tell Pickles my cat had so much fun during her stay. Very grateful for all Emily did to entertain her because Pickles is a curious social butterfly! :)

Julie and Kenneth were great caretakers of our corgi puppy, Cashew! The daily update with lots of adorable photos were just what we needed while away. It was clear that Cashew was safe, cared for, loved, and having a great time. We will always book with them in the future. Extremely recommend!

Constance was amazing. She watched my dog, Harley, for 3 weeks and sent pictures everyday of his stay. Before confirming the booking she made sure that both our dogs would get along, which I appreciated. As the stay went on, she slowly introduced her cat to Harley to make sure it wasn’t overwhelming and it worked out perfectly! She has a big yard for plenty of play time and ample space to play inside when the weather isn’t cooperating. I highly recommend Constance and her family. I am absolutely going to book with her again!

Cristen and Michael were amazing! She was commicative, calm, and flexible. Our pup was so excited being there and we loved the check-ins, videos, and photos. I would definitely recommend them.

Kacie is always wonderful with our dog! He always leaves her house happy and I feel so safe leaving him with her! We will definitely use Kacie again in the future

Mrs. Crystal provides a detailed packet to learn about your fur-baby, which shows how intentional she is about giving the best care.
