Dog Boarding in Spout Spring

I’ve been taking my spoiled rotten babies to board with Layna for over three years and I completely trust her with the care of them. My dogs are completely at ease with being left in her home. Which I can’t say for other boarding experiences elsewhere. Layna with the help from her brother Evan and guidance from her mother, Laura, they treat them as part of their family. I highly recommend Layna to care for your pet.

Brenda was great with Maxx! Very communicative and treated him like her own. I'd recommend her to anyone, she will take care of your fur baby!

We rescued T in March. She was timid, not even coming out of her crate for days. We soon bonded and were inseparable. We avoided travel because of her separation anxiety. Within six hours of leaving her with Spencer and Caroline their texts and pictures let me know she had settled in and was comfortable. Bottom line, all our concerns were gone and I know our girl will look forward to visiting her new spa on our next trip. I cant possibly recommend them highly enough.

Hillary was the absolute best sitter we could have ever asked for! Our puppy is not only huge, but she is high-energy and had never stayed with anyone but us. We were instantly at ease after taking her to Hillary! You can tell her and her family are great with dogs, and her yard was perfect for Hazel to play in! Every day we got pictures and updates about Hazel...Honestly, it was like a doggy vacation! Before we picked her up she was also given a bath! She just goes above and beyond! We will never use anyone else to keep Hazel! Than you, Hillary and family!

Fantastic sitters! Took Misha pretty last minute and we felt so good about him being there with Emily and Donnie. Emily is so friendly, courteous and kept us updated while we were away. I know Misha would love to visit again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed Kari and her family and Kinsey and a great time with them. She also loved playing with Kari’s little puppy Daphne. We are so excited we found someone we feel comfortable leaving our baby with and we know she will always be well cared for and loved 🥰

Casey was exceptional from start to finish! We had not left our dog with anyone other than family before, so while it was a little scary to part with Oskar. Casey immediately made us feel comfortable and confident that he was in good hands. When he was dropped off, Oskar was so excited he didn't even look back! She updated us consistently, and we were very glad that she took care of him so well. He is an extremely emotional eater and will not eat when he is stressed, but he ate no problem with her! Overall, we are so grateful for our experience with Casey, and we will absolutely have her watch Oskar again!

I was very anxious about leaving my puppy for the first time while I was traveling but leaving him with Marketta and her family put me at ease. Within the first day she sent me so many photos and updates and continued to do so throughout his stay. She took such good care of him! Would definitely recommend!

This was Hannah's second stay with Alliyah, and she immediately went into her home and started investigating everything. She loves her son and enjoys playing with her pups. Alliyah is a very responsible sitter, and we fully trusted her to care for our furbaby girl.

Jessica was super nice and extremely caring for my dog. She was communicative throughout the whole stay and very attentive to my dogs needs. I would definitely recommend her and will use her services again.

Wendy was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond for my dog (took him swimming!) and I can’t thank her enough for taking care of him!

Joleen was fantastic! My pup had a great time and there were no issues. Joleen sent photos and was great at helping out my mind at ease. Great experience!

Mary was great at communication, keeping us updated on how our boy was doing! We loved that she had a great big fenced in backyard for our dog to get plenty of outside time in! We will definitely use again if the need arises.

My JoJo is exhausted when she comes home after a weekend with Katie and Patty! I love it! She has a great time and I am at a peace of mind knowing she is well taken care of!

Dana was so easy to work with and fantastic with my pups! They all got along with her dog wondefully from what I hear and came home tired and happy. Would definitely recommend her as an attentive and helpful sitter!

We really enjoyed working with Tiffany. She was very accommodating and sent pictures of our two dogs. She responded quickly to messages and even gave some special care to our yorkiepoo when she was nervous. We would highly recommend her services for anyone who wants a kind and loving sitter for pets!

Charlie and Ben very much enjoyed their stay with Chantal during my wedding week in Lynchburg! Charlie was a little hesitant at first (as is his usual), but became glued to Chantal very quickly; two peas in a pod! I love that Chantal's home is off the road a bit, and in a neighborhood where the homes sit on decent sized land. Her home is open, and has a screened in porch perfect for naps in the sun. Once Charlie adjusted, I was able to relax and enjoy my festivities knowing my fur babies were in very good hands! If im ever back in Lynchburg needing doggy care, I wouldn't hesitate to call on Chantal again!
