Dog Boarding in Stanardsville

Paula took good care of my dog, Baymax, who happened to have a runny tummy during his stay. My dog has long hair, so you can imagine how messy that gets when he has loose stool :( Paula made sure to get him all clean so he didn’t feel bad. I really appreciated her help and thoughtfulness!

I can’t thank and recommend Svitlana enough! My dog is high energy pup Svitlana handled her like a charm. Every photo she sent of Ruby clearly showed that she was at ease in their home and having a great time. Five star recommend!

Hillary did a wonderful job with our pup! She walked us through everything she would need and gave us timely updates throughout our dog's stay with her and her family. Whenever we asked a specific question she was quick to respond and detailed. Would definitely board our pup with her again!

Haley was super warm with Toby, our grumpy old puggle. He came back in great spirits and we got plenty of updates along the way. We'll be using Haley again!

We just met Jesse & Emily the day I dropped off Bleu and they treated our boy like part of the family right away. I felt a good vibe during our Rover communication before booking and meeting them it immediately solidified my comfortable feelings of leaving Bleu with them! I received photos each day of his stay and it made me so very happy seeing him just so relaxed and laid back! We'll definitely inquire of their availability in the future!

Naija was a great sitter for our two kittens. She did a great job updating us throughout the days and made us feel comfortable leaving them with her. She also did a great job brushing and tending to their extra needs. I highly recommend her as she is very professional, kind, and wants your pets to be as comfortable as possible while you are away!

Michael and his wife Pam were wonderful! They accommodated our last minute dog sitting request and took great care of our pup, Polyester. They gave him plenty of attention (necessary for our semi-anxious dog) and texted photo updates while we were gone. Their fenced in back yard is a big bonus and we appreciated that they allowed dogs on furniture. We will definitely book with them again!

Our goldendoodle, Sophie, loved her stay with Penny! She was very easy to communicate with and clearly cared for her dogs and Sophie very much!

Gina's been my go-to when I need someone to watch my lab for the last year. I can tell he loves staying with her and her two guys. Very happy to have found her!

Caitlin is amazing with our Dukie! He loves to go there and hang out with his friends (humans and furry friends). Caitlin has great communication and there was an accident with our energetic dog but was quick to call me and took care of him like he was her own. He is totally fine and back to his crazy loving self! I love the pictures and videos she sends! We drive 40 minutes one way to take him to her. I would definitely recommend her!

Hope was the best sitter for our pup! I definitely will be re-booking in the future. We got ton of updates and photos of our dog while we were away and she was very flexible and understanding with pick up/drop off times.

Kara was wonderful! She would message everyday about Oliver's shenanigans and send his silly pictures. Her dog was very playful and got right along with mine. I would highly recommend her!

I am thrilled to have found Jani to watch Waffles. I knew Waffles was well cared for, and didn’t need to worry about him during the intense heat these past days. Aly was fantastic from the very start of our communication to after we picked up our Oreo from her care. She was very responsive to any correspondence, offered a visit to her home ahead of our departure to make sure Oreo was comfortable and that the relationship would be a good fit for all and exceeded all of our expectations for his care. She promised consistent communication and daily photos, which she did throughout his 7 day stay with Aly and her family. Her home and her arrangement was perfect for us and we feel we have found a friend and a loving caretaker to give us peace of mind that our Oreo is safe and sound in our absence. She quickly welcomed him into her family and gave him a home away from home. All of our requests and expectations were met and she exceeded a 5-star rating! Thank you Aly and family!!!

We were very fortunate to find Anatoliy; we love traveling with Wes, our vizsla, and most everything we do he can also do with us, but once in a while there is something like the Luray Caverns where dogs are just not permitted. Anatoliy welcomed Wes for a few hours so that we could enjoy the caverns. There are many dogs and a couple cats and a huge fenced in yard that Wes was able to distract himself with while we were gone. Worked out perfectly for us and we even left with not only Wes but a watermelon from the garden❤️

Cory and his family are a purrfect fit for our large energetic Boxer, Jake. We enjoy seeing the photos that Cory sends of Jake blending in and enjoying the company of their family pets. We appreciate seeing the photos of the walks through the woods that Cory takes Jake on. Jake came home very relaxed and happy. This was so good for him!
