Your pet stays in your home as a reliable pet sitter drops in feed and play with them
Christine watched our dog while we were gone for a long weekend. She was very responsive and sent lots of pics. She also spent a lot of time with our dog and was very punctual. Would definitely hire her again!
Robbyn is a great source of comfort to our fur babies. So much so, we suspect they prefer her visits to our own care. She provides homeowners a sense of trust and care that allows us to travel with less worries.
This is the second time that Jazmin has stayed in our home to watch our Rat Terrier and Rottweiler. We came home to two happy dogs and our house looking perfect. Thank you Jazmin!
Tracie treated our dogs like her own! Was quick to respond anytime I reached out & took care of our home. We had great peace of mind knowing our 3 were well loved, & cared for while out of town. Will be using her again in the future!
Jordan was so easy to work with and i felt so at ease having her hang out with my doggies. I will keep working with her in the future
Felicia was awesome. She did extra stuff too. The dogs enjoyed her company and she was very adaptive and attentive to their needs. Couldnt have asked for better. She is coming back again for my next trip!!!
She was the best. Did what we asked and more. We would recommend her to anyone and would book with her again.
Kim is Wonderful! She stayed for 3 nights with Lucy & Ethel. She took such good care of them and our house. Everything was just as we left it when we returned.
Abbie is great with our dog.
Anastasia was great with our 3 fur children always kept us updated with pics and messages highly recommend. This was our second time having them watched at our home. Thanks again Anastasia we look forward to having you watch them again in the future.
This is my 2nd time working with Lindsey and Austin and both times they’ve been phenomenal to work with! Both requests were for in-home house sitting. Fast facts about my pets: Roo: a 4yo, 55lb husky/cattle dog mix who is hyper anxious around new people and likes chewing electronics and other random things Gypsy: 9yo, 74lb arthritic, tri-paw German shepherd who is dog-reactive, dominant, and sometimes requires someone to lift her if she’s struggling to get on a bed or couch The Cat: a 3yo cat…who acts like a dog half of the time Suffice it to say, finding a pet sitter who’s comfortable caring for a people-anxious medium size dog and a large dominant GS with medical conditions is a tall order. Yet this duo has been absolutely fantastic to work with! We started with a meet and greet where I got to meet both of them and learned Austin (husband) would do overnights and Lindsey (wife) will provide day-care. Honestly, my pets had more care throughout the day than when it’s just me! Made me feel way more comfortable going out of town for sure. Communication was through Lindsey although Austin relayed messages frequently. The home visit went very well. They weren’t anxious with Roo barking incessantly or Gypsy barreling forward (she packs more of a punch when moving bc of the 3 legs). They asked all the right questions and were open about any concerns or lack of experience. IE: they had no prior experience with a tripaw dog. I was totally fine with that seeing as we had no experience either until it became a medical necessity. Ultimately, I was seeking someone who was comfortable around dogs who are large and dominant. They showed immediate comfort with Gypsy and I knew that Roo would chill with time. Although it was great to see that Roo approached them while they were visiting!! The first house stay was while I went out of the country for a week. It was my first time leaving the dogs since one of crew passed away. I was pretty anxious but Lindsey kept me posted to make me feel more at ease. I failed to mention to them that Roo likes to chew pens. Inevitably she got one and they were up front and told me rather than trying to hide it (I’ve had a sitter try to hide issues before). I truly appreciated it because it reminded me to add that to Roo’s care notes. Also showed me that I could trust that Lindsey and Austin would alert me to any concerns which was a massive relief! (Side note: I don’t blame them for that at all. Roo gets into a lot of things and there’s only so much a person can do, especially when I didn’t tell them to look out for that). Additionally, there was a thunderstorm which makes Gyspy problematic. Lindsey was creative and figured out a way to ease Gypsy outside (Roo follows gypsy’s lead) so that they could go to the bathroom. I’ve had Gypsy since she was a pup and never thought of trying what Lindsey did! My 2nd house sitting request was a debacle at first. The key I had left was SUPER cute but, as we discovered, it was also very flimsy. It broke in the door lock and I was already 4-5hrs away! Of course the spare key was with my neighbor…who also happened to be out of town. Long story short, Lindsey and Austin communicated everything with me and my neighbor to find a solution. Austin was a saint, willing to climb through a window to get into my house since a locksmith couldn’t change the locks without me present. Seriously, I cannot fathom my fortune finding this couple…they 100% prioritized the safety and well-being of my crew with both visits! They even offered to stop by my place to let them out again/give them dinner if traffic delayed me getting home. The house looks just as I left it, my animals are happy and healthy, and they both have been a pleasure to work with each time. I truly appreciate both of them and will continue to reach out to them anytime I’m looking for a house sitter!
Our 2 crazy Aussie/border collie sisters loved Anna, and she did a great job caring for them. She was very responsive to my texts or calls, and also would update me regularly w/ how things were going and w/ photos while we were away over Christmas week. Was afraid of missing a connecting flight and she was able to think of options should that occur. Would definitely highly recommend her and would definitely use her again!!
Another in home visit that allowed me to go see family and knowing that my fur baby was in wonderful hands. Communication was clear, received photos, followed medication and preference needs to a tee! I also had an unexpected travel delay and she was able to stay to do final feeding of the night.
Jessica had a truly fantastic stay in my home with my indoor/outdoor cat, Beans. Quite honestly I could not imagine a better sitter and I I have used many on this app over the years. She arranged a pre-visit to see the home and meet Beans, spent time to genuinely develop a connection with my pet, communicated her behavioral observations and commentary on Beans' personality and preferences, sent SO many updates and pictures, and she forgave my mistake in booking the reservation with incorrect check in times. 15/10 stars but really don't book her plz so she stays available for me k thx. Thank you Jessica.
Abby was so great watching our dog and cat. She was very communicative and sent the best photo updates. She made us feel so comfortable being away from them knowing they were in great hands.
Emma always leave our home clean and pup happy!
Angie is a wonderful, caring, responsible house and pet sitter! She kept in touch with us, sent pictures and gave our Lab several engaging outdoor workouts everyday. She was gentle and loving to our indoor cat and nestled with them comfortably into our home. We came home to two happy fur-babies and an impeccably clean home, everything in it's place. We will definitely use her services again!
Chelsey was excellent and very patient as this was my first time using Rover. She sent daily updates and communicated very well. She even fed our fish for us! Would highly recommend!
Erin took care of our 17-year-old dachshund and 10-year-old Jack Russel terrier. She stayed at our home and was very respectful of our space. She always sent pictures and kept us up to date with how they were doing. I needed someone to be home with the pups all day since I work from home and they’re used to that so I was glad she was able to provide that service. Thanks again Erin!
I went out of town she was very good for my dogs and I have two my little dog is very scared of people but was able to warm up to her the same day and eventually come out the cage to listen to instructions and even gave them a little wash before I came home you can definitely trust her
