Daisy has a good sense in people. Before we even got through the door she was excited to stay. She seemed to have settled in quickly and was loved while she was there. Michelle is very responsive and worked around our schedule to make drop off and pick up very easy. They have a beautiful home and are very lovely people. We were able to relax on vacation knowing that Daisy was spoiled and happy.

If we could give Alexsys 10 stars we would. She was able to take our dog Bella in last minute after a series of unfortunate events and was VERY flexible, understanding and kind. Long story short, she saved our vacation!! Alexsys was also very communicative sending us daily updates and pictures. Our Bella came home looking so good, happy and clean!! We can tell she took great care of her. I would highly recommend booking with Alexsys!!!

I have NEVER had an outstanding stay like I had this visit. My girls (bloodhound and Coonhound) were treated like they were their dogs. They communicated excellently. I had lots of videos and pictures. I had updates. My girls were the most relaxed. They enjoyed their visit. They were cared for like being home. The yard and care in home. Very high recommended and will absolutely 💯 rebook with them. Definitely worth every penny. Beautiful people.

The dogs were well taken care of and Gabby was flexible when our flights got delayed, which was extremely helpful and one less thing that we had to worry about.

Absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and down to earth and the dogs were treated extremely well. One dog has a tendency to jump fences and took precautions to make sure it didn't happen! Will book again!

Our dog had a great weekend with Anahita and her husband. I received daily pictures/videos. We would absolutely use them in the future. Thank you guys so much

Jessica was an amazing sitter. She took care of Taco like he was her own and it showed in the photos she sent and in his demeanor directly after his stay. He came home extremely happy like his entire stay was free of any of his normal separation anxiety. 100% recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Jaclyn was wonderful with our two “work from home” dogs who had never been cared for away from home before. She understood and allowed for time for them to adjust. Jaclyn had them for 6 days and always let us know how they were doing every day and sent photos. It made our time away from them better knowing they were having a good time, too.

Whitney was a fantastic dog sitter for our dog Carlos this weekend. She was communicative and very willing to accommodate us. I was especially happy that she had the option of keeping our dog separate from hers just in case, but was willing to try them together first. Carlos seemed to enjoy his stay a lot. We would love to bring Carlos back to her!

My puppy is always spoiled and has a great time at Jennifer’s. We had a last minute issue that popped up right before her stay - a cut on Lola’s toe that required a visit to the vet and some medication. I let Jennifer know in advance and she took great care of her and gave me lots of updates on how she was doing. Great sitter for your fur baby!

Amazing!! Took care of our pups like they were hers. We knew they were getting all the love and cuddles they would if we were home with them.

Jessica treated my six-month-old boxer puppy as if he was her own. She gave me regular updates with photos and videos. Max grew a lot so he must have been fed well. She will be my regular sitter from now on.

This was Dash's first time with Day. He had a wonderful time! Hikes, visits with family and friends for Thanksgiving, walks, and lots of TLC. Day was a great caretaker for my baby boy. She sent pictures and videos while I was gone. Great communication from her throughout the booking process. She was flexible with drop off and pick up. Day took his care seriously and asked great questions. Her property was dog friendly. She presented as someone who understands dogs and loves them. I would use her again! Wonderful sitter!

Totally Pawsome Getaways is really just that…a doggy getaway. The drive along the beautiful peaceful country roads of Charles Town, WV is not very long, and takes you to a breathtaking farm. When we arrived, my husband asked Tammy when would start taking reservations for human getaways. The pups have a huge lush lawn that is securely fenced, so they’re protected from any curious deer wandering through the picturesque nearby woods. And for relief from the warm summer days, there’s a huge covered porch all the way around a gigantic house. Doggy cots are available for afternoon naps, or just chillaxing. If the dogs need a little more relief, they’re welcome inside the cool air-conditioned house that is kept immaculate. Tammy is a warm and kind dog lover, and graciously took Bella into her home on short notice. She runs a tight ship, requiring detailed pet and vet information that includes vaccination/medication records, and behavior background. We chatted for a while, and she asked lots of good questions about Bella’s personality. When I left, I had a true sense of peace and not a trace of worry or anxiety about leaving my precious pet with Tammy. She took time out of her day to send me text messages with lots of pics of Bella having a great time. I’m grateful for finding Tammy and Totally Pawsome Getaways, because she allowed us to have great time on our Harley ride exploring the WV countryside. This was Bella's best stay ever! She’s been to 4+ star pet resorts in Houston, TX and Las Vegas, NV, as well as a regular boarding kennel in New Mexico (small town, only choice), and none of them come close to the exceptional standard of Totally Pawsome Getaways. We’re fulltime RVers, so we try and take her with us all the time, as we explore the local area. But for those times that we need pet sitting services, we’re very diligent about making the right choice. We’ll always ask Tammy to watch Bella whenever we’re in this area of West Virginia.

Ashley is the best! I feel confident leaving town knowing that my fur baby is in the best hands. I almost hate to recommend her because I don’t want her to be over booked. Seriously, can’t say enough good things.

Kathryn took great care of our dog while we were on vacation! He is a rescue so he’s a little nervous and needs lots of love and attention. He had a great time! She was very responsive and sent pictures of him having fun with her dogs. I’d highly recommend booking Kathryn to take care of your pup!
