Dog Boarding in Troutville

John was amazing with our dogs. They have special needs and he kept them for an extended stay, while we couldn’t take them with us. During that time, he took pictures and sent daily messages of how they were doing. We really enjoyed the “pupdates” as we started calling them. John is super attentive and I believe our dogs had a fantastic vacation!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We have had sitters come to our home before to take care of Ryker but we have never dropped him of any where. So I was nervous to say the least. Theresa was so kind, attentive, communicative, and inviting with my whole family and Ryker. She was patient with me when I stayed a little longer at drop off, she never made me feel rushed or unwanted. Ryker is a very hyper anxious dog in the beginning and she remained calm and reassuring that he would do great. She sent me pictures almost immediately after I got home showing me they were snuggled on the couch. We were going away to visit family and go to a wedding she sent updates and photos just the perfect amount of times in the day so I didn’t feel overwhelmed but still had a great sense of what he was doing and how he was doing. We came in late from our road trip and she couldn’t have been more understanding and kind about it. Driving home now and I know Ryker already misses her house. I will definitely use her in the future and highly recommend others to book her as well.

Shannon was great, this was my first time using rover and leaving my puppy with a stranger. Shannon was very reassuring and understanding she kept me updated on my baby. I will definitely use her again.

I highly recommend Samantha! She took amazing care of my 2 with just a short notice. What I also love is they were just like at home, no crates, kennels and were worn out when I brought them home. They made some friends as well. She sent updates and pictures. I will definitely use her again.

Great job watching and dealing with our barking chocolate lab! Hope she will be able to watch Maddie again in the future, she had a great time!

This was our first time with Shawn and my boy had a blast! He didn't want to come home when I picked him up! Shawn sent me daily pictures, proactively communicated, and had the most welcoming house - all of which made me feel confident in leaving my boy with her! We already have rebooked for next month!

Naila loved her stay. She was pampered with love and affection.

Gracie felt right at home on the farm with the goats and chickens. She was loved on from the very second she met Jody. We had pictures and updates throughout the stay. Will def be going back!!!

Marah has been our go to dog sitter for years. She is always responsive, gives lots of pics of our dogs stay, and they come home tired and happy from lots of playing. When we pull up her street they perk up and when she opens the door they bolt right in ready to have fun. Thank you Marah!

Riley’s staff with at Taylor’s was great. They were very communicative and sent plenty of photos while we were away. Will be reaching back out to Taylor when we need some where for our dogs to stay while we are away.

Our pup had a great time at Ashley’s! She came back smiling and tail wagging, and we appreciated Ashley sending pictures and answering any questions we sent her way!

Katie is truly a dog lover. She kept my dog busy and entertained through long walks and playing at the park. I received tons of pictures and videos of the stay. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Kimberly was awesome! My puppy is high energy and a bit spoiled. She was so happy there and cared for well. Kimberly provided updates and pics. We definitely will return in the future.

Rebecca has sat our Beagle multiple times. This time, LuLu had a GI problem during her stay. Rebecca handled it with patience, compassion, and diligent monitoring. She did exactly what I would have done. It's so reassuring to know that our girl is in capable, caring hands while we're gone. Rebecca even followed up after the stay was over to see how LuLu was doing. Pet sitting is more than a source of income for Rebecca. She cares and is a genuinely good person. I will never use another sitter as long as Rebecca is around.

Absolutely wonderful care. Lawdy was so great with my normally nervous dog he went straight to her and didn't want to come say goodbye. I will absolutely be booking with Lawdy again.

David was great. Our dog seemed to take to him rather quickly. He understood our dog had hip issues and instead of trying to walk him he allowed him to chill and freely walk around in his backyard. He took him out regularly for bathroom breaks and allowed him to chill in the house. David also sent us pictures of our dog to let us know how he was doing. We were thankful to know our dog was in good hands while we were out of town.
