Dog Boarding in Troutville

We were so fortunate to find John. Our dogs immediately bonded to him with his dog loving nature. John and I become friends instantly! I give him 10 out of 5 stars!

Great, per usual!! I always know I can trust Shannon and her family to take care of my pup and her needs. So happy for Brooklyn to have a home away from home. 🙂

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!! The love and compassion that Gretchen showed my little guy was through the roof. She assessed all of his little quirks and took such excellent care of him! Especially LOVED all the pics and texts about their time together. My dog is in love and so are we! ❤️ Thank you soooo much again!!!❤️

Our pups had an amazing stay with Kim! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures of the dogs playing in the fenced in yard. She had them over Easter and had a peanut butter egg hunt for them and she sent them home with the cutest goody bag with treats and toys. We will see finitely ask Kim to take care of our doggos again - they came home happy and very tired!!

This was my first time using Rover, and since my kitten is blind I was understandably extra nervous about leaving him in a new environment. Theresa was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She sent consistent daily updates and photos that truly put my mind at ease, and it was clear she took the time to make him feel safe and comfortable. I loved seeing pictures of him bonding and making new friends with Theresa’s pets — something I didn’t expect so quickly! Theresa was incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely caring, and I could tell she went above and beyond to give him the extra support he needs. I felt completely confident that he was in loving, capable hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Theresa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.

Katie is truly a dog lover. She kept my dog busy and entertained through long walks and playing at the park. I received tons of pictures and videos of the stay. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Riley’s staff with at Taylor’s was great. They were very communicative and sent plenty of photos while we were away. Will be reaching back out to Taylor when we need some where for our dogs to stay while we are away.

Samantha is a wonderful caretaker and boarder. Like many pet parents, I am very particular about where my fur baby goes. I could not be happier and more assured that my Charly is safe, loved and well cared for. When I went to pick Charly up, she was excited to see me of course, but what stood out was how she said good bye to Samantha! She ran back over to her and offered kisses lol. This told me all I needed to know. Also, Samantha is an excellent communicator and send lots of photos and updates:). She has a large back yard with gorgeous trees bordering the property. I highly recommend her!

Marah is simply the best sitter! Obi and I are completely biased, but it's true! I have left my Obi with Marah countless times now for over two weeks and he always comes home tired, happy, and well taken care of. I feel relaxed leaving him there (that's saying a lot for this helicopter dog-mom hah!) Seriously, my dog hates the car, but pulling up to Marah's house always excited him. Obi can be a nervous-nellie, but since the first time I brought him to Marah's, he's confident and excited to get into the door to play with any of the other doggie's she's watching that day. Marah as a care taker is wonderful! She is so attentive and structured. I have had to change Obi's diet a few times while leaving him with her and there has never been an issue or mishap. When he had some urinary tract issues and needed to have an extra eye on him I wasn't worried and Marah went out of the way to check with me if he could have some coconut water popsicles if needed. So thoughtful! I always receive pictures of Obi while I'm away and he seems to be having a blast in her oversized, awesome fenced in backyard. It's clearly a doggie heaven and with the added pool, it's a perfect place to take them in the hot summer. We were so lucky to find her! Thanks Marah and family for taking such great care of my guy!

Erin and Matthew were wonderful! They sent lots of pictures and I could tell that our Kaia was well loved and taken care of while she was with them.

We appreciated knowing Jetty was being well cared for and loved receiving pictures of our stinker!

Jody's home was a great place for my dog to be overnight; she has a number of well behaved animals including the most adorable baby goat I have ever seen. So in addition to the quality care he received from Jody, I know that he had the opportunity to socialize which is something he has sorely needed ever since his best friend recently moved away. It is clear that Jody makes her Rover commitments her top priority, and I recommend her highly.

Donna was such a great sitter for our dog. Very accommodating and flexible with our booking. Took great care of our dog and he came back happy and healthy. Highly recommend!

David was great. Our dog seemed to take to him rather quickly. He understood our dog had hip issues and instead of trying to walk him he allowed him to chill and freely walk around in his backyard. He took him out regularly for bathroom breaks and allowed him to chill in the house. David also sent us pictures of our dog to let us know how he was doing. We were thankful to know our dog was in good hands while we were out of town.

Our pup had a great time at Ashley’s! She came back smiling and tail wagging, and we appreciated Ashley sending pictures and answering any questions we sent her way!

Rebecca was great. She was available last minute. She sent me several pictures and updates of my pup while she had him. She took him on a lot of walks. He was worn out when he came home.

Felt very comfortable leaving my girl with Morgan and her babies and was so happy she got so much love and care from her girls!

Sidney was wonderful! She took great care of my dog who can be a handful sometimes. She sent lots of pictures and updates. I definitely would use her again!

Candace was great to work with! She sent me pics along the way. She will be on the top of my go to list!
