House Sitting in Bennington

We had a terrific experience with Deborah. She house-sat overnight for two lively dogs: our own dog and our son's dog, who is visiting for a few weeks. Deborah visited us in advance for a meet-and-greet, and right away we felt comfortable and confident in her. We live on a farm so the dogs are used to lots of exercise. While we were away, Deborah sent updates and pictures. Deborah is a wonderful pet sitter and we highly recommend her.

Anna was great with our dogs and sent us occasional pictures while we were away. They looked happy and content. Our older dog comes with some instructions but all was handled well and professionally. We will certainly be requesting Anna again when we go away. She genuinely cared about our puppies and it showed. Thanks again Anna!

Our dogs can be nervous around new people but They warmed up to Mark instantly. It was the first time in ages my partner and I were able to get away for the weekend without feeling stressed about our pups the whole time. So grateful!

Oh gosh!i knew from the moment i met Maddy that Winston would be loved while I was out of town! He was jumping around and could not wait for her to pet him when she came over to meet us. She sent me a photo of Winston on an evening walk when she was watching him. The next morning they went on a run. I came home to a tired and happy boy!! Oh yeah, she even turned on relaxing dog music for him to listen to. Maddy is definitely my number one “go to” for a dog sitter!!

My animals loved her. She sent me pictures each day. They were happy. She did everything. I asked of her and she was very patient with a very old incontinent animal. I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver.

Stephanie was amazing taking care of Finn for 2 weeks. Allowed us to enjoy our wedding without being too stressed about our buddy. Would definitely recommend 10/10

If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with both your home and your fur baby Tessa is the person to book!!!! She took wonderful care of our dog and our home while we were away. From the moment we met her, we knew our dog was in great hands. She was attentive, loving, dependable, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind. The biggest sign of how amazing she is? Our dog absolutely adored her and was genuinely sad to see her leave! That says more than anything we could write. It’s not easy finding someone you trust to care for the things that matter most, but Tessa exceeded every expectation. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy dog sitter and house sitter. She treated our dog like family, and we came home to a happy pup and a well-cared-for home. We will definitely be asking Tessa to stay with our dog again!

Wow— I can’t say enough great things about Kelly! We are so grateful to her and her husband — we had to leave on short notice due to a family emergency and Kelly really was such a huge help to us. She cared for Jack and Nash for about 10 days, which is awhile to be away from the dogs and I felt so at ease knowing Kelly was with them. She is a true dog lover — very attentive to their needs and sent us updates the whole time. We feel very lucky we found Kelly! Kate was great! She watched our 3 dogs for one night and it was the first time 2 of them had ever been left with a sitter. They are all big dogs who experience varying degrees of separation anxiety and one is reactive, so we were nervous leaving them with someone new -- even for just one night. Kate was the ultimate pro, managing all 3 dogs calmly and competently. The dogs were happy and relaxed when we returned, and Kate sent a very detailed follow-up email with some helpful insights and pointers for next time, which I really appreciated! We would definitely hire her again, without hesitation.
