House Sitting in Hinesburg

Allison went above and beyond while she stayed with my little chiweenie. She kept me up to date on how things were going and sent me pictures. I highly recommend Allison.

Elizabeth stayed with my dog Rocky while I was on a fishing trip and did a phenomenal job. She sent updates and verified with me that I would be making it home on the last day of my vacation. I came home to a very happy dog that I know got his exercise everyday I was gone. I highly recommend her for caring for any of your animals.

Charlotte is amazing. Our pups warmed up to her very quickly and were very well cared for. She also went above and beyond for us when we had travel issues. We will absolutely have her sit for us again and will be recommending her to our friends and neighbors with pets.

Matt was a lifesaver when I needed a sitter with just a few day's notice. Upon our initial meet & greet, it was immediately apparent that Matt was professional, courteous, and trustworthy. He also had many good stories to tell of his experience (and love for) caring for animals. His updates throughout house sitting with my two pups were timely, consistent, and descriptive! Being a pet mom, I always think of my pups when we're not together but I knew they were in good hands with Matt. I came back to two happy pups!

Reed was an excellent house and dog sitter. He stayed with our anxious and nervous greyhound and Reed was so gentle and kind with him. Reed had great communication throughout the weekend and sent photos. And left the house in great condition and was very thoughtful. We will definitely be booking with Reed again!

Kathleen is incredible! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. We had long-standing plans to be out of town for just 24 hrs and then 2 wks before, our house & pup-sitter told us she forgot she’d double-booked and couldn’t do it. We checked River immediately and found Kathy who lives a short distance away. Thankfully she was available and we met a few days later to show her the house and Mac’s normal procedures. We were impressed with her interaction with our little guy; he warmed up to her immediately and she listened to his schedule and quirks, asking useful questions. The next week, we confirmed the day before we left and Kathy arrived at the agreed-on time. She sent a picture of a very happy boy the next morning and was waiting when we got home. She’d already washed the linens and re-made the bed; everything was tidy (perhaps more so than when we left), and she told us how everything had gone. It was ideal; we certainly hope Kathy will return to ensure all’s well in our house again the next time we need to be away!

Kristen is the best house and pet sitter we have ever had. She spent 10 days taking care of our dog and house. When we returned, the house was even cleaner than I left it, packages and mail neatly stacked, and dog happy and healthy. Kristen communicated all important issues promptly, and even went so far as to find, remove, and save a tick on our Beagle. I can not recommend her enough!

Chris took great care of our 2 cats and even befriended the more skittish of the two. He was a great communicator and also kept my plants alive. I would hire him again!

Nina just house and cat sat for us for 2 weeks. We are so grateful to have found her! She went above and beyond, was very communicative, and shared photos regularly. I never worried while we were away and our house was spotless when we returned. I would highly recommend Nina!

Shannon took care of Bennie at my home for 2 nights/3 days. Everything went well, she was very responsive. She took him to some nice wooded trails for walks. The house was clean and Bennie was content when I returned. I would definitely have her walk Bennie and/or house sit again.

Janet has been terrific in caring for our rambunctious year old puppy. Wonderful in balancing fun, rest, and discipline. I would hire again in a newyork minute!

Cate was a great communicator while we were away. We returned to a happy dog and a clean home. Would recommend her for your pet sitting needs.

Liz was so very nice when we did our meet & greet, and my dogs loved her. She stayed in great communication with me; following up as we got closer to the reservation and throughout the booking. Walks, ball and treats - the dogs had a great time! House looked spotless. So nice to be able to go away and be confident your home & pups are in good hands. Definitely will book again. Emmi was a fantastic in-home dog sitter for our golden retriever, Thorbunny! We had lots of pictures and updates, and it was clear our guy was having the time of his life. Emmi was super communicative during our time away, and I can honestly say this was the first time we've had a dog sitter where I didn't worry and could actually relax on vacation. As an added bonus, I came back to a clean and tidy house, not to mention a happy dog! I would definitely (and have already) recommended Emmi as a fantastic pet sitter.

Laura kept me updated with pictures and progress on Teddy, who was a recent adoption for us, so we were anxious leaving him. We were happy to have her come for a meet and greet ahead of time. He enjoyed his snowshoe with her and being able to share the bed! I would certainly use her again and recommend her heartily.
