House Sitting in Lincoln

Mildred was wonderful with our dog, Maple. We were gone for a week and it was a relief to know that Maple was being well cared for in her familiar environment. Mildred sent pictures and updates every day to let us know how they were doing and what they were up to- taking walks in the woods, playing frisbee, and just hanging out. They really bonded and I think Maple misses her! It was also comforting to know that our house was in good hands while we were gone. We came back to a house that was cleaner than it was when we left it. We would definitely want to have Mildred house-sit with Maple again.

Always great having Meghan look after our socially anxious dog. She is great with handling emergency situations, calmly and patiently. We have a peace of mind whenever we have Meghan watch our dog and house.

Laura was great with Ricky. Good communication, followed instructions.

Anna was the best. My shy, older dog warmed up to her right away. Anna and her dog Starbuck had my dog, who normally withdraws while we are away, fully active and engaged with walks and play and attention. Anna had great communication, was thoughtful, and neat. Highly recommend.

Laura kept me updated with pictures and progress on Teddy, who was a recent adoption for us, so we were anxious leaving him. We were happy to have her come for a meet and greet ahead of time. He enjoyed his snowshoe with her and being able to share the bed! I would certainly use her again and recommend her heartily.

Shannon took care of Bennie at my home for 2 nights/3 days. Everything went well, she was very responsive. She took him to some nice wooded trails for walks. The house was clean and Bennie was content when I returned. I would definitely have her walk Bennie and/or house sit again.

Sophie stayed with our high-energy Border Collie and skittish cats for over a week. This was her second time staying, so we knew the animals were in good hands. Still, we loved getting daily pictures of them confirming it! She took our dog on long walks and she continued to get close to our cats. She's a great communicator and she left the house spotless. It's such a pleasure to come home to happy animals and a well-cared-for home. We highly recommend Sophie and look forward to continuing to hire her when we travel.

Karen was absolutely wonderful with my two cats. She stayed in my house with them for over a week during Christmas and New Years, was a great communicator, kept me updated with photos, and I felt very reassured leaving my pets with someone so responsible. Upon my return everything was tidy, the cats were well fed with extra food and water laid out, and litter boxes cleaned. It was a great experience and so wonderful having her take care of them while I was away so I could relax and enjoy my vacation worry free.
