House Sitting in Shelburne

Whitney was amazing with our high-energy Australian Shepherd puppy while we were skiing in Vermont. She stayed in our cabin during the day, eased his anxiety when we left, and kept him entertained nonstop. Despite the freezing weather, she made sure he got plenty of playtime in the snow, which he really loved. She sent us tons of updates and videos, so we never had to worry. By the end of the trip, it was clear our pup adored her—he was so upset when she was leaving! We’re so grateful we found Whitney and would absolutely book her again when we’re in Vermont.

Nina took care of everything and our Senior dog, Yogi, was very happy and comfortable with her walks and snuggles.

Matt does a great job every time he housesits in our home. We come back to calm cats and happy chickens. By the sounds of it, I think one of our cats in particular has been scheming how to make him stay longer, and will probably attempt to hide in his bag the next time around. :)

Kathleen is incredible! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. We had long-standing plans to be out of town for just 24 hrs and then 2 wks before, our house & pup-sitter told us she forgot she’d double-booked and couldn’t do it. We checked River immediately and found Kathy who lives a short distance away. Thankfully she was available and we met a few days later to show her the house and Mac’s normal procedures. We were impressed with her interaction with our little guy; he warmed up to her immediately and she listened to his schedule and quirks, asking useful questions. The next week, we confirmed the day before we left and Kathy arrived at the agreed-on time. She sent a picture of a very happy boy the next morning and was waiting when we got home. She’d already washed the linens and re-made the bed; everything was tidy (perhaps more so than when we left), and she told us how everything had gone. It was ideal; we certainly hope Kathy will return to ensure all’s well in our house again the next time we need to be away!

Lucy was awesome! Fantastic communication, our dog loved her, house was clean, and she even ran the sheets in the washing machine. Thanks Lucy!

Sarah did a great job watching our pets while we were out of town! She's available on weekdays and weekends, and is an excellent option. Everyone was so chill and relaxed when we got home - perfect!

Emma was absolutely amazing! I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were genuinely thriving while she watched them. She was super communicative and went above and beyond in every way. It was so obvious she truly cared. She even left the sweetest personal hand written note which made me even more happy I found Emma. It's always hard leaving your pups with someone new, but people like Emma make it so easy. Funny enough, we found out we went to the same college! I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone and absolutely know who to go to when I need someone again.

Cheyenne was awesome! I felt so comfortable knowing she was taking care of my dogs. She kept me updated and sent pictures. I came back and could tell my dogs were well cared for and happy!!

Beatrice was great with our 80lb love bug (Belgian Shepherd / Lab mix). He's a big pup who needs a good amount of play, and she took care of him for 3.5 days, last minute, over the Thanksgiving holiday. We felt comfortable leaving Trooper and our home in her company!

Janet managed and seemed to celebrate our one year old black lab puppy, who can be a tornado in and out out of the house. Both the puppy and the house were in tip top shape. I would highly recomend Janet.

Andrew was great! He was responsive, sent updates throughout the weekend, and left our home better than how he found it. We will definitely be using him again to help our with our pup when we need it!

Charlotte is amazing. Our pups warmed up to her very quickly and were very well cared for. She also went above and beyond for us when we had travel issues. We will absolutely have her sit for us again and will be recommending her to our friends and neighbors with pets.

Kelly was fantastic! She was organized, communicative, and clearly very attentive to all of Milo's needs. I definitely want to have her dog sit for me again in the future! Thanks Kelly.

Sofia was wonderful to work with! She had great communication, made the entire process easy, and was incredibly available. Even though we were only gone one night, it gave us so much peace of mind knowing everything was handled. We had absolutely no worries while we were away. Highly recommend!

Erika is a wonderful house and pet sitter. Our dog loves her, she takes him on fun outings, he eats well for her and she leaves our home clean and neat.
