She was an absolute gem while watching my cats during my recent trip. From the very beginning, her communication was outstanding she sent the sweetest little prompts and cute photo updates that made me feel so connected and reassured while I was away. Seeing my kitty happily playing, lounging in her favorite spots, and clearly well cared for in those pictures was such a relief and honestly made my vacation even better. She did a fantastic job my cat was happy, healthy, and well fed when I returned. Even though I completely forgot to tell her where the extra kitty litter was stored (total brain fart on my part!), she handled everything with such grace and resourcefulness. That level of sweetness and professionalism really stood out to me. If you’re looking for a caring, attentive, and genuinely awesome cat sitter, look no further. James took care of our two cats for a week. This was our first time leaving them alone this long. I've used Rover many times in the past, and I just need to say that this experience was the best yet! I am a Rover sitter myself (similar # of reviews and 5 stars), and I would even choose him over myself. He spent genuine time at our house through the week and kept us in the loop. For me, this is the expectation. Our cats are easily stressed and extremely needy, so when we normally arrive home, they are starving for attention. Not this time though. When we arrived home after being gone for 7 days, our boys were so relaxed, healthy, and happy. Even there coats were cleaner and healthier than before. Our house was vacuumed, dusted, bedding and living room blankets washed, trash/recycling was taken out. I'm a bit OCD and left our home extremely clean, but when we arrived home, it was even cleaner. If you are ever in need of a pet sitter, James is the best option. When you arrive home, you will understand exactly what I mean. He has my highest recommendation.
