Dog Boarding in Des Moines

I absolutely recommend Kristina! She’s not only incredibly caring but also such a wonderful person. She took amazing care of Georgie and made sure to keep me updated every single day with the sweetest pictures of my fur baby. I could tell he was happy and well-loved—she took him on trail walks, kept him active, and gave him her full attention the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!

My husband and I totally trust Kathy with our babies. She is very compassionate and patient. She had movie night with the dogs! Thats awesome! We will only leave our girls with Kathy anytime we need a trusted, kind and friendly person to look after our babies.

Samantha is a kind and amazing person whom we can fully trust to care for our dog while we're away. She is very attentive and communicative, sending us daily reports along with activity photos. We will definitely book her again next time! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.

Alex and Amanda take such good care of our pup. They’re sensitive to the dynamics between all the dogs they care for and facilitate social time to make sure everyone’s feeling safe and having a good time. Our dog loves them and responds very well to them. We’re so happy to be able to leave her in such good hands!

Chuk and her partner did a great job at caring for my elderly dog and all her needs including assembling and heating up her special diet multiple times a day. I’m so grateful they were able to help care for her so that I could attend my long time friend’s wedding. I received so many photos and videos, it really helped put me at ease while I was away from my sweet baby.

Brandon has watched my pup numerous times now and every single time he has great communication and takes great care of her! She loves when we head out of town because she loves going to hang out with her pup and human friends!!! Thanks Brandon!

Dane was great. He is friendly & personable, has a great backyard for the pups, & knows a lot about dogs. I was able to meet & greeting beforehand, which was great. He was flexible & accommodating for my pup’s stay.

David and Betty are amazing took such good care of our fur babies that both take medication and one is special needs! I highly recommend them!

Daisha did a fabulous job taking care of our puppy Elvis. She knew how o care for a shy dog. We had 2 meet and greets and daily photos and updates. He was treated like their own pets. Would highly recommend her.

Rosa took wonderful care of my dog and sent lots of pictures and videos. She is so warm and welcoming and a great communicator. I’ll definitely work with her again in the future.

A weekend at Tamar's is always Odie's favorite getaway. If I even get his bag out of the closet, Odie is already headed to the garage door anxiously waiting to go. He loves Tamar, her whole family, and the social interaction with other dogs. The added benefit is that regular visits with Tamar help reduce Odie's overall anxiety and boredom. She provides lots of opportunity for exercise. She's the best.

Rikke and her family took the best care of our two fur babies while we were on vacation! I loved the daily photos showing all the fun they were having! The pups clearly had a great time and made lifelong friends at the Westie Inn. Thanks again Rikke for all the love and care you showered on our pups! We will definitely be boarding with you again in the future.

Erika was great! My dog Maggie came home very tired which means she had a great time with Erika playing and getting her energy out. Erika was very responsive and gave us great updates. We will definitely be using her again!

Cyndi clearly loves dogs and was great with our doggo Rory. She leaves the back door of the place open so dogs and run in and out and explore and go potty as they need, which is great. Rory seemed absolutely at home right from the beginning, sniffing everywhere right when we dropped her off. Cyndi sent pictures and kept us updated throughout Rory’s stay. Rory was happy and excited when we picked her up and it seemed like she had a lot of fun!

Jaymee was amazing and came through for us when our travel plans turned into a disaster. She always keeps us informed and sends lots of videos and pics. We never had to worry about our big boy.

Mylyn did a great job taking care of our (very anxious after we just moved) dog Dexter! Very kind and kept us informed through our zero-notice travel

Maria is the best!!!! Our dog Petunia Pepper had her own wonderful beach vacation while we were out of state visiting family. Maria is very attentive to the dogs in her care, she kept us updated regularly and was a joy to work with! We will definitely reach out to her to watch our pup again :)
