Dog Boarding in Hat Island

Rachel is Amazing. This was the first time I’ve ever left my 2 Australian Shepherds to go on vacation with my family. Finding Rover was a godsend that lead me to Rachel. She seemed like a perfect fit to care of our fur babies while we were away. The daily pictures and updates put our mind at ease while Rocco & Ripley found new friends to play with. Thank You, Rachel for taking such good care of Ripley & Rocco.

Dave was excellent at reassuring me that my fur babies would be fine. He sent pictures and videos confirming that they were having fun. Since this was my first time boarding my dogs, I was nervous. We had a last minute dog sitter cancellation and Marlene was kind enough to take care of our dog with only a few hours of notice. It turns out that we got really lucky as she and her husband took wonderful care of our mini doodle. She frequently sent us photos which put our minds at ease throughout our trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them take care of our pooch again.

First, I would like to apologize for my late review. Wan watched our boy Max for almost 2 weeks. During that time Max had a medical issue that needed a vet visit. She shared pictures and videos of Max. We talked on the phone about what to do and how to go forward. Wan did an outstanding job caring for Max and we wouldn't hesitate to call on Wan again. Thank you so much Wan for the care you showed Max. She even got Max to get along with other dogs. She sent us a video of Max walking around the backyard with his new friends, we couldn't believe it, jaws dropped lol.

Jenny was amazing! She was very easy to communicate with and coordinate drop off/pick up with. She sent photos and took great care of Stewart! Will definitely want to book with her again in the future.

Morgan took such good care of Nova, and she sent amazing picture updates of Nova. I could tell they got along well, and Nova was living her best life getting to go on long walks and a trip to the brewery. We would definitely trust Morgan with Nova any time we need a sitter, and Nova would be so pleased to go back.

This is the second time now our dog Clyde has stayed with Alexa. He loves it! Alexa is great with dogs and Clyde is so happy to play with the other pups. Her house is great, and for us the location is perfect. We’ve used the Rover service one other time. That experience wasn’t as good. The gal was overly strict and kept the dogs in kennels. Which is fine, but Alexa’s house feels like a home, and I know Clyde loves that. The next time we need to go out of town, we’ll be using Alexa because we know Clyde will be in good hands.

Dekota LOVES ShuShu and her family! They treat her like a family member and give her a lot of exercise, mental stimulation and love. My pup needs extra care with medication, a prescription diet and multiple meals per day. I never have to worry about this with ShuShu. She takes excellent care of Dekota every time.

Terri was hands down the best dog sitter I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We felt so lucky that we were able to find her to watch our pup for us. I highly recommend her, she kept us updated on our dog and what he was up to while we were away. We will definitely be using Terri in the future when we need a dog sitter again. 10/10

Teanna was wonderful taking care of our Ellie girl. Our dog has a little separation anxiety and Teanna made sure she switched around her work from home schedule to make sure she’s home with Ellie. Thanks Teanna!

Wonderful experience with Mary, everything was perfect. Mary was fantastic! She was prompt in everything with great and timely communication. Very organized and caring throughout the entire process. Kandy was well cared for and seemed so happy during her stay. Mary showed genuine love and attention, and the other dogs she had provided wonderful company for Kandy. We also really appreciated the regular photos and updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Everything went smoothly and on time — Mary is truly a top boarder, and we would highly recommend her!

Katie is AMAZING! Sas loved her stay! Katie gave me updates throughout their time together and even helped manage her leash pulling and reactivity!! Katie is now our go to dog sitter!!

Excellent care from start to finish! We received frequent updates and lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pup got plenty of walks every day, which is exactly what she needs, and even had a furry friend to enjoy them with. It was clear she was well cared for and happy the entire time. Cody seems to have had such a wonderful time frolicking and sunbathing in Shalini's big yard, he wasn't all that excited to come back home! Will definitely be our first choice for boarding in the future.

Lucy has a great time at Catherine's. Catherine has a great yard for the pups to run around in Lucy got to hang out with other dogs on her stay. Catherine communicated well and provided updated pics.

Michelle was extremely nice and accommodating for our senior pup. She has great communication and sent plenty of pictures to give us assurance that he was being loved while we were away. Her daughter was a great help and we could really tell how much they both love dogs. I would highly recommend Michelle!
