Dog Boarding in Hoodsport

Bailey and Kyle were great! Our usual boarder was on vacation around the time we had ours so she wasn’t able to watch our pup, so we needed to search for another boarder. I was referred to Bailey and Kyle and they took care of our pup while we were out of town and left us with no worries! Our pup also came home exhausted from all the fun! I’m sure he can’t wait to go back!

My dog was so happy with Kayla and her family. She came home happy, healthy and completely tuckered out. Can’t say enough good things about it. We’ll definitely be having her pup-sit our princess in the future.

I chose Jesse as my sitter the first time I used Rover and will always choose him. He is fantastic. We looked into kenneling our sweet girl but knew that would not be a good fit for her as she is an indoor dog that is used to having someone home all the time. From the bio, to our meet up to the actual stay, Jesse was great! Our 3 year old son cried when we dropped her off and he was so attentive and sent photos and videos of our girl enjoying her 3 night stay with him. My son would wake up every morning asking for our pup while on vacation but so thankful that there was a new message from Jesse to show him how well she was doing. I truly feel like our pup was on vacation at a doggie Airbnb. Thank you Jesse and look forward to booking you in the future!

Kaylee was AMAZING! She would give updates and send lots pictures of my fur baby. I would highly recommend and would be booking with her in future. Thank you Kaylee for an amazing job and keeping Mochi happy and safe during his stay with you.

Lorelei was beyond amazing! I can't say enough good things about her. I had originally set up to to have her take Dobby for doggy day care but before I could do the meet -n-greet I had a death in the family and needed to leave town immediately. Unbelievably, I called her at 2 pm, my husband rushed over to do the meet-n-greet and by 3:30 she agreed to take my little guy for a whole week. If things hadn't worked out, the back up plan was to have him boarded at a more commercial operation that he's been at before but I wasn't thrilled with the idea of him being inside about 95% of the time for 8 days. No such worries with Lorelei. She took such good care of him, his nickname is now Mr. Spoiled and I think he was mad that he had to come home. New friends, homemade doggy treats! What wasn't to love??? She also texted me almost daily with updates and tons of pictures. I highly recommend Lorelei and wouldn't hesitate to leave Dobby with her again. In fact, I'm setting up on-going twice per week day care with her so he won't miss his new buddies too much!

Roxana and Nathan are amazing and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a safe, welcoming, fun place for your dog to spend a vacation! We were able to relax while we were away knowing that our bernedoodle was in a family environment, being loved and cared for while we were out of the country. They were flexible when we wanted to add extra time after they already had her. And the photo updates that Roxana sent let us see that our doggie was having fun and feeling the love! You can feel confident that your pet will be in really good hands with Roxana and Nathan. We would have absolutely no hesitation in leaving our high energy, attention seeking dog with them again!

Steven & Rachel helped us out very last minute and they went above and beyond! They had very quick responses and always gave our dog love and attention, even if our dog was giving them a hard time. Highly recommend them!

Miranda did a great job with my boy Reece. This was his first time staying with someone other than family so I was a little worried - Miranda sent plenty of photos and updates and was super flexible with drop off/pick up which I really appreciated. I would definitely book with her again!

Our dogs had a great time with James! He took lots of pictures and made sure they had the individual care they needed. He even took them on a beach walk!

Leaving your puppy is never easy, but i felt such a peace of mind leaving my David with Charis. What made the visit even better is that he made a friend with another Puppy staying there. It brought ne so much happiness waking up to photos of David and his new friend. I am so thankfully that I now have such a loving sitter for future visits.

Dani clearly has a genuine love of dogs and took exceptional care of my miniature schnauzer! Dani provided updates with photos and was very easy to communicate with and flexible. I’ve booked Dani for 2 more stays and would recommend Dani to anyone wanting their dog to be in caring, loving hands!

Cassie had a great experience at Tammie’s place. She came home happy and exhausted. I won’t hesitate to book with Tammie again.

Annmarie was amazing! Pick up and drop off where seamless, I got regular updates, and my pup came home happy and well taken care of! Would definitely rebook.

David and his family are incredible. My pup was taken care of as if he were their own pet. I WILL be rescheduling and I WILL continue to recommend to anyone who needs someone to take care of the pets

Faye was wonderful and communicative! We received daily photo and updates on our pup, she made sure our dog’s stay was comfortable and fun! We appreciated our dog had other furry pals to hangout with while we were away. Definitely recommend!

Jennifer is awesome! Coco has quite a bit of anxiety when we leave her, so it’s always hard for us to send her to a sitter. Jennifer made the whole experience so much easier and gave us such peace of mind knowing Coco was in good hands. She’s so kind and understanding of Coco’s anxiety and made sure she felt comfortable and loved while we were away. We really appreciated the updates/pictures and knowing Coco was being so well taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Jennifer and will definitely be using her again!

Wow wow wow!! I’m not sure how else to describe James and how fantastic he was watching our small senior Chiweenies Jabba and Einstein for 10 days. James took the boys on adventures everyday and I’m certain they had so much fun they didn’t want to return home. Lol. Shadow James’ dog is such a sweet fun loving boy who loves to play and make friends. James messaged and provided pictures and updates frequently. He was also incredibly flexible with pick up and drop off and even provided us with a leaving gift, hand written note and a detailed letter of all the hikes and day trips in the area. James truly is fantastic both as a dog boarder and as a human. We’ve had many sitters and James has drastically outshone them all. After pick up on our drive home my partner and I were even looking at other days we could drop the dogs off for adventures. Thank you again James we really do appreciate you and Shadow for taking in our boys and providing such great love, care, adventures and memories for our babies!!

Jerrie was very responsive to our last minute request for dog boarding. We met her and her doggy crew at her house and she asked lots of questions and was clearly very knowledgeable about responsible dog boarding. We felt very comfortable having her watch Griffy over the weekend. She sent updates and lots of pictures every day and Griffy came home tired and happy! We would happily use Jerrie again!
