Pet Sitting in McCleary

Becky is very punctual and accomodating to changing plans. She is also very good with our high energy, anxious Decker Rat Terrier. We booked her again.

Annmarie did a great job he texted twice a day sent pictures, when we got home the babies were in extremely good attitudes. They were certainly missed ever so glad to have her as our new sitter which we will be calling her again thank you so much Ann Marie you're awesome

Madisyn was absolutely AMAZING! This was my first time using Rover. We usually boarded our shepherds and had someone look after my old man. We lost one of shepherds suddenly in December so our situation changed. My dogs are my life and my old man is 13 years old and I know I don’t have long left with him. I am very protective over my dogs and knowing I have a senior dog made me so nervous. After I first met Madisyn she put my worries to ease and then continued the whole time we were gone. She went above and beyond what was asked of her. She always communicated and sent pictures. Even though she didn’t know my dogs she treated them like they were her own. It made my heart happy and I am so appreciative and thankful for Madisyn. She was truly a blessing to me and my dogs ❤️❤️❤️

Carina is an amazing pet sitter! She took great care of our fur babies and kept us updated while we were away. We’re definitely going to use her again in the future. :)

Vita visited our home to take care of our dog. Vita made sure to know about our dog's routine and followed our instructions. We got lots of photo and video updates while we were away. Vita also provided excellent communication and was flexible. I would not hesitate in recommending her to care for your dog!

Ruby is literally the best we could have ever hoped for in a pet sitter. Our babies absolutely love her and we never have to worry if she is watching them. She cares for your kids like they are her own. Wish we could give her ten stars!

My husband and I had planned and booked a 2 week bucket list trip to Peru and were set to leave in 7 weeks. We had arranged our normal pet sitter that we’ve used for years to come and take care of our (almost) 15 year old cat, Mr. Christmas. It was around that time that Mr. Christmas stopped eating. Mr. Christmas had no real health conditions, no meds…and he was declining fast. After extensive testing, imaging, and seeing a specialist, he was diagnosed with either IBD or cancer and was going to need a lot of follow up. He was on multiple oral medications and he still wasn’t eating great. I couldn’t leave him in the house with someone who can only come see him once a day. He needed more support and our normal pet sitter couldn’t provide that for him. I was fully prepared to cancel the trip, but thought I’d go on Rover to see if anyone could match what we were looking for and if anyone would be willing to do what we were asking. We needed three, hour-long visits daily, forcing food at him, weighing him, and administering multiple daily medications. I found Melanie explaining what I was looking for, and I was really impressed that she was up early at 4:30am to message me. Melanie communicated with me each week leading up to our trip. We initially didn’t have a diagnosis and I needed vet clearance to leave him. Melanie asked many questions, and when we finally were told that he was stable enough to leave, she came over to our house with a list of questions to go over with us. He’s got a bit…a lot…of an attitude. She made sure that she didn’t approach him and waited for him to come to her. She was so thoughtful about every detail of their interaction in front of us. My husband and I both felt that even though she is a stranger to us, there was something calming about her and she was very professional. We knew Mr. Christmas would be okay, but I wasn’t expecting him to thrive the way that he did. Melanie never missed a visit. She never asked for anything from me. She communicated with me daily throughout the two weeks. She braved picking him up to put him on the scale multiple times. Mr. Christmas gained weight with Melanie. He wasn’t gaining weight with me at home, but she is just that good. Pictures of Mr. Christmas started with him sleeping alone, and then he got closer and closer to her on the couch. He even started inviting her to watch him in the litter box (I’m mortified), but he only does this with “his people”. Our dog came to visit at home a few days to see Mr. Christmas (they are besties), and Melanie had no problem cuddling our dog while visiting Mr. Christmas. To describe Melanie in one or two words, I would say she is easygoing and pays great attention to detail. She makes everything seem easy and carefree, and my anxiety really appreciated that on this trip. I got home from 15 days away from him, and he is this thick ball of fluffy happiness. He was WELL taken care of. We could have never gone on this trip without Melanie. She is a true gem and I will be referring anyone and everyone I know to her. Ashley took such great care of my three cats! She was very on time for our scheduled drop ins, extremely communicative, and genuinely cared for my cats’ well being. I would definitely hire her again!

2 of our 3 pets had ongoing medical issues, but we had commitments out of town for a day and a half, and Branden stepped into the gap. He took great care of all three and really got us out of a pinch in doing so. Fabulous work!

To our relief, Alisha was available during the Christmas holidays. Our regular sitter was out of town and recommended her highly. Alisha braved terrible weather to drop in and care for our kitty. We’re grateful for her reliable service.

Rebecca has done such an excellent job with our cat Frank. I will definitely use her services again. I can tell when I meet good people and Rebecca is just that! Thanks again Rebecca!

Couldn't have asked for more from Lisa. She was great with our kitty, who warmed up to her quickly (which he doesn't often do). We felt at all times that he was in great hands and well-cared for. We would not hesitate to use her services in the future.

Kirsten was great. Showed up daily as requested and always around the same time. I am sure that Dooney enjoyed her presence and attention. Will definitly use her again for future travels.

Sofia was wonderful with our aging Labrador! She dropped in every meal time and followed my directions precisely, right down to his water snob water changes. She walked him, petted and loved him as specified, and was so sweet with him! I will definitely use her services again, and highly recommend her. Thank you Sofia! :)

Brian was super accommodating and kept us updated throughout the visit on how our dog was doing. I really appreciated the pictures he sent and I could tell Indy was comfortable with him. He was prompt in responding to our communication too. Thank you so much Brian!!

Katey was AWESOME with our dog. She shared pics with us and kept us up to date with all the fun that they were having together. We will absolutely look forward to hiring her again the next time we need a dog sitter!
