Dog Boarding in Newcastle

Loic and Kristen are terrific dog sitters - this is my second time with them. Zorro loves to go on walks and that seems to match their family’s activity level well. I received many photos of Zorro taking walks and looking for wildlife and they understand how to manage Zorro’s leash reactivity. They are excellent communicators and seem to have enjoyed having Zorro around (and they confirmed that she’s a really easy dog to sit…. aside from the leash reactivity issue, which is very common with rescue dogs). I will be looking to book them in the future, if they are available.

Heather is so kind and communicative. She kept me updated with pictures throughout my furbaby's stay and I can tell he had a great time with her and her daughter. I will definitely continue booking with Heather!

Debbi and her family truly went out of their way to make sure Coco was comfortable. From the pictures and videos she shared, I could clearly see he was getting so much love and attention especially when they noticed he was a little anxious. That meant the world to me. Lena and her family took a great care of our dog. She sent us a pictures of happy puppy enjoying herself and it was very relaxing during our vacation to know our family member is in good hands. Thanks Lena, we will definitely come again

Theresa was great with my two big dogs- one a Great Pyrenees, the other a big lab mix. She is knowledgeable about dogs and good with canine dynamics. She has two spaniel mixes that are a bit protective, but she manages them well. I would definitely recommend Theresa. An excellent experience for me and my pups.

Lisa is hands-down the best sitter we’ve ever used! From the start, her punctuality during every hand-off was impeccable, which made our travel days so much easier. What really blew us away was the level of care she provided; she planned so many unbelievable activities that it honestly felt more like a vacation for our dog, Rufus, than just a boarding stay. Lisa didn’t just watch our pup—she went above and beyond to keep them engaged and happy. Leashed walks/runs galore, dog play dates, dog-friendly bar visits, trips to dog store for extra love... She is now our top option whenever we need a sitter. We cannot recommend her enough!

Shon is such a great sitter for Miso. Miso is getting older and Shon has so much experience with older dogs I feel very comfortable with leaving Miso with him. Second time booking with him and will continue to book with him in the future.

Liz was absolutely amazing. She sent tons of pictures and updates and our pup had the best time. I’m usually nervous leaving our dog, but I didn’t worry for a second. Thank you Liz!

Wanqing took wonderful care of my dog. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and made sure to follow all of the instructions I left for her. She even took my dog to the beach for some fun, which was such a thoughtful touch. When our return flight was delayed, Wanqing communicated with us right away, always putting our dog's comfort and well-being first. We felt completely at ease leaving our dog in her care, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.

My senior dog requires specialized medical and dietary care, so I sought a dog boarding service with experience while I traveled for spring break. I was incredibly fortunate to find Kaylie, a 5-star rated boarder who was available. She provided Joy with excellent care, keeping us updated with daily photos and messages, and alleviating all our stress and concerns, allowing us to enjoy our trip. She will be our first choice should we need to board Joy again in the future. I highly recommend her to all my fellow dog owners and anyone else seeking a wonderful boarding experience.

Shirley and McKenna are fabulous pet care givers. I can’t thank them enough for how well my senior dog was taken care of. They are gentle and warm hearted. My picky old dog loved it there!

I think Sheila gave my Cocoa a love potion. The moment we turn the car towards her house (maybe half a mile away) my dog is super excited. She just knows we’re going to Sheila’s house. The moment she’s out of the car, she’s running knocking at Sheila’s door crying to be let in. Then she’s gone and forgets about me. Lol. I don’t know why but I know she loves Sheila.

Quang was absolutely fantastic! He took in Aggie for six weeks of boarding on short notice and provided exceptional care throughout. Aggie is a sweet dog who unexpectedly came into our care, but we weren’t in a position to keep him at home while we searched for his forever family. Quang’s deep knowledge of dogs and their behavior, along with his spacious backyard, made for an ideal environment. He was consistently responsive and sent frequent updates, including photos and videos, which gave us great peace of mind. He was also incredibly flexible, allowing me to pick up Aggie every few days for walks and playtime. I highly recommend Quang to anyone in need of trustworthy and compassionate dog care!

Another great stay for the weens. Bella loves her vacation with Quinten and she doesn’t like too many people. I’m sure Bella and Daisy can’t wait to stay again! Thank you so much!!

Elan was great with Charlie. Charlie is older and getting dementia, so he requires some extra attention and he seemed really comfortable with Elan. I will definitely reach out to her again!

Kirsten and her family did a great job with my boys, Lewis and Clark, on this five-night boarding stay. Daily photos, videos and updates were entertaining and reassuring. No problem following my detailed instructions or accommodating the boys’ high-maintenance routine. Kirsten also was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. I highly recommend Kirsten and wouldn’t hesitate to hire again.

Excellent host for our dog. We were lucky to book them for a quick overnight stay and could not be happier. Oliver felt right at home from the second we got there and looked right at home when we got there to pick him up. He was well exercised and got a lot of personal attention and we got great pictures. We can not wait for his next stay with them!

Amazing! This was the second time watching our dog, Maverick, and he had an amazing time. This was a long trip away and Shay kept us updated with pictures and messages the whole time. There was never a worry for us. Our pup loves staying here and we feel so comfortable leaving him. Thank you Shay for taking such good care of him while we were away!

Xiangmin (Rachel) was amazing! My girl came home so happy, I could tell they formed a great connection. She gave wonderful updates of Miya playing fetch or going for a walk. We will be seeing her again if she will have us!
