Dog Boarding in Newport

Lena was fantastic! She watched my pups at her house while I was out of town and they were exhausted when I picked them up, which is always a good sign :). I got picture updates every day of walks and play time with other dogs she was also watching. She's always quick to reply to any message and was very flexible for our meet & greet as well as drop off and pick up. Can't wait to be a repeat customer for future trips when my pups can't come with me when I travel!

Heather is so kind and communicative. She kept me updated with pictures throughout my furbaby's stay and I can tell he had a great time with her and her daughter. I will definitely continue booking with Heather!

My little Poppy loves her time at Mckenna’s, who takes the very best care of her. It gives me tremendous peace of mind to know my Poppy is well cared for and having fun too playing with Olli and Jaxx, Mckenna’s to darling dogs. Shon and his wife took Mochi in like one of their own. They walk him, take him on car rides, let him sleep on their bed and send me pictures everyday. When I picked him up, my dog is happy, and smells like he just got back from a spa (cause Shon bathed him and even washed his bed). I can definitely see that they are truly dog lovers and will definitely trust them with my baby again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Elan is the best! My dog is shy with new people, but really seemed to enjoy her stay with Elan. The updates and pictures helped put me at ease, and my dog was obviously well cared for. I would definitely book with Elan again in the future!

Lisa has watched my dog Mac several times now, and he’s always so happy to see her - he runs right up to her at drop-off and looks so happy in the (many) cute pics she sends during his stay! Mac tends to be anxious and is very attached to me, so it’s such a relief to have a sitter who he’s so fond of. She’s so great with him and is very knowledgeable about ways to help him settle in and adjust while I’m away, and she always takes him on fun walks and adventures, no matter the weather (he’s stayed with her during rain and snow storms, and they still get outside multiple times a day). He always comes home happy and tired, and I can tell he’s had a great time with Lisa! She’s a great communicator too and always quick to answer any messages I send while Mac is boarding with her. So grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her more!

Scarlett took real good care of teddy and kept us updated with messages and pictures. While away it's a good comfort to know he is being well taken care of, snuggled, loved and happy. Definitely coming back and recommend her.

I was in a total panic when my regular sitter wasn’t available, and Jeremey came through. He was incredibly accommodating from the start, communicated clearly throughout, and followed every instruction to the letter. As a senior dog mom, that level of care matters more than I can say. He genuinely relieved so much of my stress. Lily came back calm and happy. Highly recommend!

Sheila and her family took such good care of Ella once again. Ella is so excited and happy when she goes there, she loves being with Teddy and enjoys her time immensely. She comes home a good tired. Thank you again, Sheila ❤️

Xiaomeng is an amazing dogsitter! I had an amazing experience with her. I’d been new to boarding and felt scared about boarding, but truthfully, it’s been an amazing experience. Xiaomeng had been attentive, professional, and very caring. She’d constantly update me with both text messages and photo/video to see how my dog’s doing. Xiaomeng went above and beyond looking after my dog and ensured he felt comfortable around her home since he’s only a few months old and hadn’t been boarded before. That said, I would highly recommend Xiaomeng for anyone looking for an amazing dogsitter!

Theresa is very kind and thoughtful. When Milo was having trouble of climbing up stairs, Theresa went above and beyond to find a ramp to assist Milo. I constantly received photos and updates from Theresa. Milo really had a good time. I definitely will recommend Theresa to other dog owners and will repeat when the next opportunity is there.

Liz is amazing! She's so thoughtful, caring and takes amazing care of our dog Tyson. He loves staying at her home which has a beautiful backyard for him to roam and explore. We know he's in great care when he's with her.

Aileen was very attentive towards my pet and did an amazing job sending regular updates including photos and videos. She went out of her way for my dog who is a picky eater. Would definitely trust her with my dog again!

I left my shy, anxious little dog with Christopher for a weekend, and was very happy with the care he got. I was updated regularly and got photos, and it made me feel better about leaving my precious little sidekick behind on vacation 😊 highly recommend.

This was my first time using Rover. Anhelina and her partner took good care of my cat while I was away for a 5 day trip. I received several photos and videos daily. My cat is usually standoffish for quite a while with new people but she got pretty cozy with these guys on a few occasions. Communication was great. Their home is very clean and on a high floor with a big window to look out of. I would book again.

My senior dog requires specialized medical and dietary care, so I sought a dog boarding service with experience while I traveled for spring break. I was incredibly fortunate to find Kaylie, a 5-star rated boarder who was available. She provided Joy with excellent care, keeping us updated with daily photos and messages, and alleviating all our stress and concerns, allowing us to enjoy our trip. She will be our first choice should we need to board Joy again in the future. I highly recommend her to all my fellow dog owners and anyone else seeking a wonderful boarding experience.

Kenny was very accommodating to our schedule — my daughter is a swimmer, so depending on team outings, race times, and finals, our timing can fluctuate quite a bit. He responded quickly to messages, sent lots of photos, and he genuinely took my dogs’ well‑being seriously.
