Dog Boarding in Vashon

If I could give fifteen stars, I would. I have never fully felt at ease leaving my little guys with anybody. One of them is pretty reactive and needs a special person to help him feel safe. Maria, thankfully, is a very special person. It is clear that she deeply loves little dogs, including those with particular needs, and understands intuitively what they need. My guys clearly loved their stay and came back to me healthy and calm. I think the time with a small pack and another trustworthy human was really good for them. I left my dogs with Maria for more than 2 weeks while I had surgery and was in early recovery. She sent me plenty of photos and videos so I could see how happy they were. She took them on lots of fun beach adventures and made sure they ate and took their medication (they can be finicky). I had total trust in her and was able to focus on my recovery with no stress whatsoever about how my precious babies were doing. I haven’t really traveled the last 5+ years because I didn’t trust my dogs with anyone, but now I know there’s somewhere they can go where they will be just as happy and well taken care of as at home. I am so thankful to have found Maria and cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Maria, for being who you are and giving my little ones all the love they deserve. You are a treasure!!

Josh and Mario have been an absolute godsend for us. we have two large dogs. one is the typical lovable goofy sweet dog (Rosie). the other is more coyote than dog (Raiden). Any sitter can watch a happy fluffball but a rare sitter who understands fear aggression and recognizes dogs are not babies with fur is extremely appreciated. Raiden is very selective in who he trusts and usually takes weeks to earn that trust. Josh was in Raiden's family/friends plan within hours. that's a miracle. And lastly the dogs were very happy during their stay. The daily updates and pictures were much appreciated and gave us peace of mind. Do yourself and your dog a favor and choose Josh for your famiky member. big or small, sweet or ... not so sweet these two accommodate all. oh and someone was always there which is perfect for separation anxiety. Thank you Josh will absolutely use again.

Our miniature Australian Shepherd, pixel had a wonderful time with Carl and his wife. They were very communicative and did a great job making sure that he had plenty of stimulation and received all his medicine. We're super appreciative and can't wait to have him stay with them again!

Kirsten was amazing and really came through for me last minute. Elio had a GREAT time and it sounded like he was part of the family. He can't wait to go back...

Alexa was fantastic. Extremely communicative, thoughtful, and loving towards our dog, Alfie. She sent lots of photo updates and it was clear he was always happy and loved. We plan to have Alfie stay with Alexa in the future and know he will be in great hands!

Miranda watched our pup over Thanksgiving break. She was communicative and sent photos of Biz everyday. He came home tired and happy. Thank you!

Rachael was so kind to take our little Hugo for a last-minute stay. She was communicative and flexible and took great care of our pup. We would definitely have Rachael take care of Hugo again!

Our puppy’s stay was great, I felt so comfortable leaving her behind and we picked her up as a happy and content as we dropped her off! Thank you so much, if I lived in the area we would absolutely use Kayla and Jacob again!

This is the second time we have used Kristin and we absolutely love her. Her son & Brother are amazing at helping her create a loving family for Weatherly to stay with. She came through for us in an emergency situation, was very flexible & had great communication the whole time. Our dog is always so so sad to leave Kristin & her family because they take such great care of Weatherly, it's become Weatherly's second family.

Kevin and Kandice took wonderful care of our sweet boy Buzz! We were nervous leaving our dog for a week since we just rescued him, but they made us feel so comfortable and confident during our trip. We got amazing photo updates which put as at ease. Our boy was loved and taken care of the entire stay, and we could tell that when we got him back. They were easily accessible, caring, and accommodating. We will definitely be booking with them in future. Thank you Kevin and Kandice! ❤️

Meagan was wonderful! She was warm, very communicative, and really engaged with Naina throughout her stay. She was also incredibly flexible when our pickup time was delayed by an hour, which we really appreciated. Naina seemed so happy and comfortable with her, and we’ll definitely be booking with Meagan again!

David is wonderful. He took great care of my dog Bruno and I love that Bruno had a buddy in Cosmo too. David paid close attention to Bruno’s needs and kept me updated with pictures and videos during my trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch him! Thank you!

Jennifer is awesome! Coco has quite a bit of anxiety when we leave her, so it’s always hard for us to send her to a sitter. Jennifer made the whole experience so much easier and gave us such peace of mind knowing Coco was in good hands. She’s so kind and understanding of Coco’s anxiety and made sure she felt comfortable and loved while we were away. We really appreciated the updates/pictures and knowing Coco was being so well taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Jennifer and will definitely be using her again!

Ashley did a fantastic job caring for our dog while we were away for 10 days! Our dog can be anxious and Ashley and her family made her feel at home, made sure she had daily enrichment and playtime, and provided lots of updates. Her fenced yard was also a bonus as our dog loves to sniff and explore. We would absolutely use Ashley again in the future!!

Jordin had great communication, sent at least daily updates with pictures. She made sure my high energy dog had enough mental and physical stimulation. I felt very comfortable having Bandit stay with her and her family, we would definitely rebook.

This was our second time boarding our boys with James and as always he was fantastic. With our dogs being older and small breed it can be nerve wracking leaving them but James is so caring and they love their adventures, walks and playing with shadow. We won’t leave our boys with anyone else!!

Kizzie is amazing! So attentive to my little kitten. I appreciated the daily updates with pictures and videos. I will definitely be back as a customer.

This was my first time leaving my Velcro dog with a sitter, and Jennifer did a fantastic job. She answered all my questions and asked a few of her own before. My dog stayed with her. Her questions made it very clear that she cared a great deal. She was especially careful for first day or so to send photos and give me updates. It was clear that my dog was comfortable there. I would happily use Jennifer as a dog sitter again.

Julie was amazing! So warm and welcoming and Murphy felt at home straight away. We got lots of lovely photos, updates and funny stories about his day. A real home from home. Would recommend without hesitation, a wonderful place for you loved pet one to have a holiday of their own!

Colleen was super responsive and offered to set up a meet and greet to make sure Kershaw was comfortable and familiar with her place prior to booking the stay. We would recommend Colleen and stay with her again!
