Dog Boarding in Algoma

Julie was very patient with my senior dog, Zoe. Zoe wasn't feeling great during her stay and Julie did everything she could to keep her comfortable. I appreciate all of the communication!

Melissa was great! She took our three dogs for a week while we were out of town. Usually our dogs get very stressed/anxious when they are boarded but when we picked them up they were very calm and happy. Melissa was great at also sending us updates with photos which we loved! Our dogs had a great time staying with her and we plan to use her again in the future for our boarding needs.

When looking for someone to care for my fur baby on short notice I turned to Rover. Mackenzie’s reviews all said great things. Well, there is no way to put into words how fabulous she is!!! She took my baby on short notice and was SO good to him. She took him places and kept him active. I loved that she sent daily updates so I could see that he was enjoying his “vacation” also. I think he was sad to leave but I am so thankful to have found her. She definitely has a big heart for animals and it shows. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. You will be more than pleased with Mackenzie, and your dog will be too.

Sara took care of our pup, Kit, and we are very happy with how she cared for her. Great communications, and we’ll plan on using Sara services again in the future. She really seems to care about the dogs.

Teressa was great! She provided a loving home for my two dogs while I was away on a work trip. Very thoughtful, very friendly, and even sent me a nice message with a pic of my beloved Tucker and Honey relaxing at their home. Highly recommend.

Graciel did a fantastic job taking care of Leo during his four night stay. She kept in contact with me and sent several photos, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her service again in the near future.

I would give Megan a 10 star rating instead of 5. My husband and I asked Megan to pet sit our Bella the day/night of our wedding. We have tried to board her in the past but she does not do well in a cage. Before I talked to Megan, I would worry all the time about what we were going to do with with Bella for the night of our wedding. I has so much anxiety about it that it would keep me up at night. All of my anxiety went away when we had a meet and greet with Megan, Matt and her family of dogs. Bella fit right in and was so happy. Megan treated her like family and showed so much love for Bella. I was no longer worried about Bella because I knew that she was in best hands possible. The day of our wedding my husband was running late and Megan met up with him to pick up Bella. They even brought Bella to our wedding venue so we could get pictures with her! It was so special that we could share our day with our Bella. It was the best wedding gift and I cannot thank Megan and Matt enough.

Jamie did an outstanding job watching our dog for eight days, providing exceptional care and complete peace of mind while we were away. She was a fantastic communicator, keeping us updated with regular check-ins and photos throughout the entire stay. We highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring pet sitter!

Brittany took excellent care of our pup Luna. Luna loved running around the backyard and playing with her dog Lily. The pups got a long great. Brittany provided lots of pictures and updates over the course of Luna’s stay and was super accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Alison is great! She sent us plenty of photos and updates while we were away which made us feel even more comfortable leaving our furr baby for a couple of days. You can tell she is great with animals and takes great care of them. Her dog Benson is so friendly and made for a great playmate —our dog was pooped when she got home from all the fun!

My dog appeared content when I picked her up. She was able to play outside, go to a nearby pond and roam the property, giving her plenty of exercise.
