Dog Boarding in Hobart

Mackenzie is genuinely an awesome person and wonderful dog sitter!! 🐾 She very generously accommodated my dog for boarding on short notice overnight, which is typically VERY stressful for both myself and my dog…however, our experience with Mackenzie was very pleasant!! I was given consistent updates about my dog, sent photos, and reassured my baby was cared for as if I were caring for him myself. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and could tell he was kept as comfortable as possible and given a great environment to hang out, take walks, get plenty of sniffs (my dogs favorite) and snuggles. Side note - he has separation anxiety and Mackenzie did a wonderful job minimizing this for both of us, as it usually takes him some time to calm down after coming home from a sitter’s but he was not even anxious when I picked him up, just happy to see me! Which almost brought me to tears. I will definitely be asking Mackenzie to care for my dog again in the future & know when I say her name to go visit he will be happy to go see her again (: Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!!

Shanna is the best! My dog stayed at her house for about a month, which is pretty stressful for both my dog and myself, but Shanna deleted my stress within like two days after I saw how happy and comfortable my dog was at her house! She made great communication, sent daily updates and pictures, and put in much time and effort in taking the best care of my dog. Shanna will be my go-to sitter whenever I need to leave the town again, short or long.

Jeri is very kind, thoughtful and cares. We called upon her to board our yellow lab when we needed to go out of the country for a month. She communicated with us constantly sending messages and pictures. I will definitely be a regular with her as she has availability and we have a need. I would highly recommend her to care for your furry loved ones.

They did a great job taking care of our girl Nix for a few nights. She seemed to feel right at home. I would highly recommend Crystal and Scott.

Angela had our 2 boys for a few days and they did great with her! They love to be outside and her big backyard was a plus and gave me peace of mind for their safety. We had nice warm temps for a day and she took them on a walk, which they love too!

We left our 7yr old Yorkie Lola with Colleen for an overnight stay. We were looking for someone suitable for an extended stay next year but needed to make sure it was a good fit. Colleen has a very calming presence especially as this was to be their first time alone together after our initial meeting. Colleen is gentle and did fun activities with her such as play fetch that our Lola absolutely loves. She took the time to comfort her at bedtime when she had a bit of a difficulty settling in for the night. Colleen's neighborhood is quiet with lots of spaces for walks and fresh air. Overall we are very happy with this overnight visit!

Kaylyn was friendly and easy to communicate with. Her dog was a great playmate for our pup, making sure she got her play time in. Kaylyn sent a photo update to check in, which was appreciated. At pickup, we could tell our pup had such a great time and had been made to feel at home. We would absolutely trust them with our pup again!

Denise and family were fabulous! Charley had a great time and was very happy. Communication was great and she checked in each day. Would definitely leave Charley with them again!

Melissa was wonderful! Super quick to respond, organized, sent great updates, was understanding when there was a last minute medication that needed to be given, and was attentive to my dogs individual needs!

Bobbi did an amazing job while boarding Buddy! Great with communication, by sending updates and pictures throughout Buddy’s stay. When I picked Buddy up, she had everything ready to go. Buddy was a happy dog staying with her!! Booking additional boardings in the future!

Melissa and her family did such a great job with Harley me and my husband went on vacation for 5 days and this was the first time we had ever had a pet sitter Harley was on her own vacation lol she had so much fun with the other dogs and the family was very good at updating me and sending me pictures they knew I was very nervous about the whole thing so they made sure to not only make Harley happy/ comfortable but me as well. They made our first experience amazing. Well definitely!!!! Recommend and be utilizing her services again very soon thanks guys! ❤️

So grateful our dog has a safe place to stay when we can’t bring him with us. I can’t ask my dog , but by the looks of it he has a good time!

We had a fantastic experience with Holly and Mike! They were excellent communicators, keeping us updated regularly and sending lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. They were also incredibly flexible with our schedule, which we really appreciated. On top of that, they are just genuinely kind people who clearly care about the pets they look after. We will absolutely be using their services again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any dog owner looking for reliable and caring sitters!

Rebecca was great. She was easy to communicate with. She sent frequent pics to let us know our boys were having a great time and adjusting well. Would definitely use her again for our pups. They came home very happy and tired from all the playing.

Alex and her husband were so sweet and did a wonderful job taking care of my two dogs! They were flexible with pick up and drop off times. They sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend which made me feel reassured and comfortable that my pups were having a good time and getting lots of loves. It is hard to leave your fur babies with someone else but I would 100% recommend Alex to anyone who needs a dog sitter!
