Dog Boarding in Bunker Hill

Our dog sitter canceled one week before our trip, over a holiday, and Cindy accepted our request within minutes. I’m honestly glad our other plans fell through. From the moment we met her, I knew Waffles would be in great hands. She sent daily photographs and updates, took him on walks, and he even became best friends with her daughter. He was able to sleep in bed at night time if he wanted, was not locked in a cage all day, and Cindy took care to give him his anti-anxiety medicine to help him adjust. When I arrived to pick him up, he ran to me excited and happy, then settled right back into his usual self at home. I’m so glad we found Cindy and hope to use her again in the future. I will never be taking him to a kennel now that I know Rover exists and there are incredible providers like Cindy available to make vacations less stressful for our little guy. We would 10 out 10 recommend her for anyone seeking a safe and comfortable home for their furbaby!

Joel and Janelle did a great job with Luna. They provided pictures and updates about Luna. She is a high energy puppy and they provided plenty of exercise for her. I will use their services again for sure.

Suddenly, I needed a substitute sitter for a handfull: 2 dogs, very different: a rescued 60lb fast high-energy young dog (Redbone Coonhound-Doberman cross) and a small, slower and adult dog, a rescue stray pug, 25lb. I'm very happy I found Walter; he and his family adapted well to my mixture of needs with my dog family and took great care of my babies while I had to go assist my own family out of town in a shortage of help. I couldn't ask for more. I am grateful.

Alexsys took such good care of our puppy Ozzy. He spent two nights with her and made all kinds of friends. I’m not sure he wanted to leave when picked up! It was our first time leaving Ozzy like that and so her updates and pictures helped reassure us he was doing well. Highly recommend!

Barbara was absolutely amazing! One of our pups was having some health issues and she helped treat him and sent plenty of photos so we knew they were doing great! We would highly recommend Barbara to watch your dogs 🤗

Michelle and family provided top-notch care for our “little old man,” Harry! Said we were lucky to get him back because they fell in love with him. 💖💖💖 Seriously, Harry was given extra special TLC when giving his meds, meals and snacks. He even made some new feline friends!! Michelle and family were also great at communicating his antics and sending pictures! Would not hesitate to recommend and reach out again when we need a sitter!!!

Lucky had so much fun and the family is really nice. Booked them again because they are truly the sweetest and made lucky feel like he was at home.

We love Jessica ! She & her family are so great with our furr-baby ! She even sends pics & videos for updates ! We always know our pet is in great hands !

We left Lulu with Bella for 2 days as a first visit. she did great - was well cared for and happy. We got photos and reports daily. I feel better when leaving a dog with a nice family and that’s what she got. We’ll be back soon.

Lori is absolutely amazing with my 5-month-old pup, Kato! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves dogs - and she’s especially obsessed with Kato’s breed, which makes me feel even more confident leaving him in her care. Lori is so kind and truly obsessed with all things animals. Her passion shines through in the way she cares for every dog she watches. Kato always comes home happy, tired (in the best way), and clearly well loved. He enjoys playing with the other dogs there, and it’s been great for his socialization. Since Lori and her husband are both experienced dog trainers, I know he’s not only having a great time, but also in very capable hands. It gives me so much peace of mind to know he’s with someone who treats him like family. Highly recommend Lori to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and full of love for animals!

Katherine took the time to introduce her dogs and other visiting dogs one at a time to make sure the dogs all got along. Plenty of room for the dogs to run and explore. Appreciated the daily pictures to let us know how Wyatt was doing. Drop off and pick up was quick and easy. Definitely will ask Katherine to watch Wyatt again if we can’t take him with us. Thanks Katherine!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter! Luna is an extremely shy and sensitive dog, so leaving her is never easy, but she was so well cared for and genuinely seemed happy and comfortable in her home. She was kind, patient, incredibly communicative, and kept us updated throughout our trip, giving us complete peace of mind. It was obvious Luna was treated like family and received so much love and attention. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional, trustworthy sitter, and we’ll absolutely book with her again and again!

Charlie has a blast every time at Tamara’s, clearly loves her, and is obviously well taken care of when she stays. Could not recommend her more!

Linda is the greatest! I’m picky with who I leave my dog with, but she treated my dog like it was hers. I love that she kept me updated with what they were doing. I would definitely let her sit my dog again.

Laura is so enthusiastic to care for your pets and they love her right back. She was so attentive to our Mika. Her place is perfect for dogs quiet, country location with a large fenced in area to explore. When we stopped by for our meet and greet, cottontail bunnies were hopping along the driveway into her place. The environment is healthy and clean. We received many photos showing how our Mika was settling to the new environment. Laura was as intuitive with us as much as our dog. She did everything to help us feel at ease in leaving our dog with her. We felt Laura cared for Mika as if she was her own. So happy to find a wonderful and caring place like Laura’s home.

Allison was great! She took great care of our elderly dog. And was great with communication - including thinking ahead and letting us know we were running low on food. Would definitely have her watch our dog against

Michelle boarded Toby for a week during Christmas and she did a great job. Great communication and very responsive. Toby loved the stay and Michelle would send periodic updates with pictures. Definitely recommend Michelle and we will rebook for sure in future

I couldn't have asked for better care for my dog. Tara and her husband were excellent. My dog loved the yard and got along well with their sweet dog Butcher. I highly recommend them for in-home pet sitting.
