Suddenly, I needed a substitute sitter for a handfull: 2 dogs, very different: a rescued 60lb fast high-energy young dog (Redbone Coonhound-Doberman cross) and a small, slower and adult dog, a rescue stray pug, 25lb. I'm very happy I found Walter; he and his family adapted well to my mixture of needs with my dog family and took great care of my babies while I had to go assist my own family out of town in a shortage of help. I couldn't ask for more. I am grateful.

Our dog sitter canceled one week before our trip, over a holiday, and Cindy accepted our request within minutes. I’m honestly glad our other plans fell through. From the moment we met her, I knew Waffles would be in great hands. She sent daily photographs and updates, took him on walks, and he even became best friends with her daughter. He was able to sleep in bed at night time if he wanted, was not locked in a cage all day, and Cindy took care to give him his anti-anxiety medicine to help him adjust. When I arrived to pick him up, he ran to me excited and happy, then settled right back into his usual self at home. I’m so glad we found Cindy and hope to use her again in the future. I will never be taking him to a kennel now that I know Rover exists and there are incredible providers like Cindy available to make vacations less stressful for our little guy. We would 10 out 10 recommend her for anyone seeking a safe and comfortable home for their furbaby!

Michelle is a conscientious, caring person with a deep love for dogs. When I left my cavalier king Charles with her, I knew he was in good hands. Barbara was absolutely amazing! One of our pups was having some health issues and she helped treat him and sent plenty of photos so we knew they were doing great! We would highly recommend Barbara to watch your dogs 🤗

Laura is so enthusiastic to care for your pets and they love her right back. She was so attentive to our Mika. Her place is perfect for dogs quiet, country location with a large fenced in area to explore. When we stopped by for our meet and greet, cottontail bunnies were hopping along the driveway into her place. The environment is healthy and clean. We received many photos showing how our Mika was settling to the new environment. Laura was as intuitive with us as much as our dog. She did everything to help us feel at ease in leaving our dog with her. We felt Laura cared for Mika as if she was her own. So happy to find a wonderful and caring place like Laura’s home.

Jessica and her family took care of my 6 month old puppy for a few days. I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality and her welcoming family. They took amazing care of our dog and sent updates and great pictures! I had no worries the entire time we were away. Thank you again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter! Luna is an extremely shy and sensitive dog, so leaving her is never easy, but she was so well cared for and genuinely seemed happy and comfortable in her home. She was kind, patient, incredibly communicative, and kept us updated throughout our trip, giving us complete peace of mind. It was obvious Luna was treated like family and received so much love and attention. Charlie is amazing. He watched my pup, and even through her anxiousness (and mine), she had fun. She had social play and his big fenced yard made her exploring time more fun. He did everything I asked overnight including her meds she needed, and he also sent me pictures whenever I checked up on her. He will be my future sitter from this point on!

I am a pet sitter and have never used rover for my own pets. Arlene kept my chocolate lap who has separation anxiety. She was wonderful. Kept us up to date on how Luke was doing and spoiled him just as we do. She is now our go to sitter ?

Agnesa was awesome with our boy, Toby! She took time during our meet and greet to make sure that he would get along well with the dogs in her household, she has a skill for picking up on all the little signs! Toby seemed very comfortable in her care and he was so tired when we picked him up, that's the sign of a fun weekend! We felt very comfortable that he was in great hands and got lots of attention. Agnesa even worked with him on some crate training and made sure he was extra safe in her yard. And we got so many great pictures and updates!! Both dogs were happy and tired when I picked them up after their first stay at Lori’s, which is what you want! One of my dogs had been recently bitten at a dog park and since then unpredictably reactive. Lori wasn’t daunted at all and sent me photos and messages of how much fun and love the dogs were getting and giving! Would recommend!
